Stayed here last summer on a 2week trip throughout Austria with our preteen kids. This is a very nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. There is a nice indoor pool and the dinners were very, very good. We came here to hike and scenery was nice. While not a luxury property we would not hesitate to stay here again if in the... More

We've just returned from a weeks holiday in this beautiful hotel. As our arrival was after 9pm we weren't expecting a meal, but no sooner did we start to book in at reception when were taken to the dining room where we were served with a delicious 5 course meal. This was to set the tone of the rest of... More

We recently stayed for a week at this excellent hotel enjoying a weeks super skiing. The hotel staff were quite outstanding and nothing was to much trouble. Our room was large, comfortable and warm, widows and shutters did have to be kept closed during the night due to the street below being very noisy. The food was absolutely first class... More

We stayed at the Schwarzer Adler from the 5.12. - 7.12.2014 during the St. Anton Ski Opening. It was our 4th stay during the past few years and the hotel keeps improving itself. What appeared to be one of the best hotels in St. Anton, a couple of years ago has now become one of the most wonderful hotels in... More

We stayed for a week at this hotel in September, which was thoroughly enjoyed in every aspect. The location is positively fairy tale, a traditional Austrian village, surrounded by towering mountain ranges, pine forests and waterfalls with totally breathtaking views from both the cable car in the village and the viewing platform at 3,000 metres. The accomodation was excellent, with a... More

Stayed here very recently and can only praise it for the wonderful experience we had whilst staying there, from the lovely rooms with great views to the supern indoor swimming pool we really would find it very hard to fault this hotel, our only small gripe was the way they take your drinks order and then you get chased down by waiting... During a recent stay at the Schwarzer Adler, St Anton, I was unfortunately taken ill and hospitalised for one night and one day. On my return to the hotel and over the remaining days of my stay, the care, attention and concern I received from all of the staff was truly amazing. The rooms are spacious and well cared for.... We stayed in quite a few hotels during our motorcycling tour but this was by far the best, so we were very happy to be able to stay here for four nights. The room was lovely, with a sofa and two armchairs and lots of storage and as we had a balcony we had an amazing view. Bathrobes and slippers... More

We stayed here for a week in mid-August, half-board, with Thomson and would be delighted to return. The Schwarzer Adler is situated in the centre of the lovely little town of St Anton which has a railway station and various bus routes. The hotel is near chair lifts, cable cars, shops, cafes etc. It is beautifully furnished throughout, traditional, light, airy with...
