The good! Fantastic staff Modern rooms and en-suite Very clean Friendly faces Lovely homemade cake Warm, nice warm boot room too! Lovely large open plan living/kitchen space made a lot of friends in the chalet by socialising with other people staying in the chalet - good atmosphere. Close to some great bars and only a short bus ride away from... More

This was a very cheap option for staying in St Anton - but I wish we had paid more to stay elsewhere!! Food and wine was the worst part - absolutely disgusting. I don't think it's the chef's fault - he was obviously given limited ingredients to prepare the meals. The wine was out of a carton labelled "red wine"... More

St Anton is an expensive resort and this chalet represents a reasonable way to stay in this area comfortably. It is not de luxe. It is simple and unpretentious. (The skiing is quite a challenge to less experienced skiers so expect a blue to be steeper and longer than you might be used to but to improve your skiing exponentially... More

The good: The chalet was in a pretty decent location, 5 minutes walk from the Nasserein gondola and a short 10 minute bus journey into the heart of town where there are several ski lift options to pick from. Getting back to the chalet with your skis and gear can be slightly more painful though as it's up a hill... More

Stayed here in early January. The chalet is nice, rooms fairly spacious. Room 2 where we staid has an en suite and is removed from the lounge area, which is a bonus as it is very quiet. Staff were vey helpful and the chef did a good job. The common areas were pleasant and there were always people around to... More

The Chalet Alber is a lovely spacious chalet which was spotlessly clean. We had a third bed in room 7 and room 14 and there was ample space. The shower room again was spotless with constant hot water. Very warm and cosy, we had to turn the radiators off as we were too warm! The ski to door is down... More

I stayed here for Christmas 2013 with my family. The chalet itself is lovely with nice sized bedrooms and clean bathrooms. The upstairs living room and shared kitchen was a very good size. It had a great sauna too. I think our disappointment in the chalet came from two area, one was the location. It was by no means ski-in... More

Stayed here in Dec 2013 with two friends, staff were v helpful and friendly. Food is fine with fried breakfast or cereal/yoghurt and dinner was generally good with Chef being v helpful for a friend who was vegetarian. Rooms were clean and the bathrooms were redone which was good but in our bathroom and others they forget to add towel... More

Chalet Alber it's self is a fine basic chalet. Furniture a bit shabby and dated. Shower hadn't been updated since the 1980's. February 2013 I took my family on a Alpine Elements ski snow board holiday in the beautiful St Anton am Arlberg. First impressions were OK I wasn't expecting much from the chalet for the price paid. I was... More

We are very saddened to read this review as we have tried on numerous occasions to resolve the issues that this guest had. Chalet Alber is one of our classic three diamond chalets which means that it is a comfortable chalet, similar to that of a 2-3 star hotel. All of the ratings are explained in our general information which... More

Not expecting anything great from this chalet, I was very pleasantly surprised. The chalet was rather basic, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was particularly good - well done Daniel, who had only recently come to the chalet. Excellent duck on our last night! And he made a big effort to produce some vegetarian dishes for... More
