Having visited Obergurgl skiing for the past six years we stayed at the Bergwelt for the first time. This was a jewel in the village. The food and the service was excellent. The evening meal was a minimum of six courses with ample choice. The leisure facilities are superb.Will be going back next year. more

We have just returned from our first skiing holiday, staying at the Bergwelt in Obergurgl. Not knowing what to expect (from skiing or the hotel) we have had a fantastic time. Stayed for a week in March and had a basic room which was clean and very comfortable with a TV with English channels and a balcony. Just returned from a 5 night stay at The Bergwelt. We booked direct with the hotel last August and were disappointed to discover our room was one of the smaller junior suites which had a dark claustrophobic feel to it, in addition to a small bathroom and not the best view in the world.
