Just to add to the list of wonderful reviews I would also like to say how lovely this Gastehaus is. Our navigation couldn't find it, but when we did we were greated by Manuela and her husband. She describes the Gastehaus as 'one big living room' and it is! It is lovely decorated and well kept. I think it is... More

We booked apartment 1, which was very, very spacious with a large living/dining/kitchen area and two bedrooms sleeping 5 people. A great deal of thought had been given to furnishing the rooms with many pretty touches. It even has a hammock and swinging 3 seat chair on the balcony! The rooms were immaculately clean and well presented with lovely mountain... More

We came back for more, just a couple of years after our first visit, and were again so impressed with the standards Manuela and Andreas Moser uphold at their charming chalet-guesthouse. We stayed once again in an apartment, beautifully fitted out to maximise space, very comfortable and well equipped. The keynotes are delightful typical Tyrolean décor, and friendliness, and care... Our family of five (2 adults and 3 small children) stayed at Gasthaus Weiherhof in January on our first trip to Alpbach. Manuela and Andreas, along with their beautiful family are so warm and friendly, and really go above and beyond for all of their guests. The apartments are beautiful, well equipped, and so homely. The cafe downstairs is gorgeous... More

Gastehaus Weiherhof is located between a 5 and 10 minute walk down the hill from the centre of the pretty village of Alpbach. The accommodation is laid out in apartments. Our apartment slept four but had a very generous layout, with more than enough room for us to be very comfortable. The ski bus stops right outside the front door,... More

I've been trying to write this review since my Husband, myself and the rest of my family arrived home on the 18th January, but finding the right words for this best kept little secret is impossible! It was our second time visiting Gastehaus Weiherhof and it was even better than we remembered. As soon as you arrive at the guest house,even... More

Returning to The Weiherhof for the Second Year with a Group of 10 Family and Friends was even better that the First Year. The Warmth and Welcome From Manuela and Andreas is by far the best and most sincere that we have ever experienced in our 18 years of travelling to Austria. Their attention to detail is exceptional and nothing... More

The wonderful Manuela and Andreas Moser and their girls chose this as their motto for their guest house, and they certainly live up to it! We could not have felt more welcome, wanted, cosseted and looked after if we'd been staying with our own family. The house is picturesque, and wonderfully decorated and furnished in Tyrolean style. Our apartment for... More

Here we are again for our ninth summer! Everything's as fine and friendly as ever (even more, if possible...). New precious details were added in the apartments: everything "heartly" oriented! The only (VERY SAD) difference from the surroundings is that in October 2011 the Mayor of Alpbach decided to close the wonderful Hallenbad. Also Flo's and Judith's Restaurant had to... More
