We spent 3 nights at hotel Badhaus in July on a motorcycling trip of the Alps. The family run hotel has lovely clean rooms, a spa with pool and fantastic food. As non meat eaters we had at times struggled to get good food in all inclusive package hotels, but the owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Badhaus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception staff spoke very good English and they explained us a lot about the different ski areas, the buses, the ski lifts, the ski hire, etc. They provided us with loads of different maps and information. The room was spacious and was cleaned every... More

We went to Zell am See for a lot of skiing, and the location of the hotel was not a problem, as there were regular bisses, which went to one of the lifts, also from that busstop it was possible to get to any other skilift. We have arrived very late, but the staff have helped us a lot: expleined... More

This hotel was good but only because the food was excellent and it is located not too far away from the town. The bed was comfy, but we were there as our normal hotel "Grüner Baum" was full. The room we were given was on the right hand side as you look at the photos and one could walk on... More

This hotel was located only a short walk from the lake (which was beautiful). Our room was spacious and very clean. It was also roadside, which means it was very loud if the patio door was cracked. There are no fans or AC, so if the door is not cracked it felt like a sauna (we actually thought the heat... More

For some this hotel might be a little too far out from the centre, and unfortunatelythe main road was closed for roadworks entailling a 30 minute bus journey round the lake. This was not really a problem for us as it gave us the opportunity to see more of the surrounding area which is beautiful. Normally it would be about... More

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and on both occasions found owners and staff extremely helpful and friendly. The food is as good as any Michelin star restaurant with a good wine list. We had a fabulous room that had been recently refurbished. The town centre is about a 20 minutes walk along the lake. We... More

This hotel is slightly North out of Zell am See centre. It is situated on the main road but is quiet and you are not disturbed by the proximity to traffic. Warm welcome from staff and good food served. We ate in the restaurant at night- well presented food and good value. The breakfast was continental with some hot choices.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in late July/early August 2008. We contacted them via email (www.hotel-badhaus.at) and they were able to arrange everything for us with ease. They were very quick in their response. We arrived on a late flight into Salzburg, so a late checkin wasn't a problem and they arranged for a key to be left for... More

Family vacation is a very dear and precious project the staff of this hotel make sure to make our vacation an entirely miserable experience. This hotel is family operated which means that the staff are relatives. Well in a perfect situation this idea should sound warm. However, the staff were very fussy and controlling and were always giving instructions and... More
