Charming and old fashioned in a stylish way, this hotel took us a little bit of effort to locate but was worth the effort. Rooms were well decorated and cosy, and the breakfast selection wasn't too bad. Although the indoor pool wasn't well maintained, the hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests, which we greatly appreciated.... More

Hotel St Georg in in a good position when staying in Zell am See, a 5 minute walk to the lake, restaurant and bars. Situated beside a stream across the road from the church and with views of the mountains and the lake. The hotel has lovely traditional Austrian decor throughout, there is a restaurant and bar we did not... More

We had a great 3 night stay in this hotel in September. The Junior suite was spacious and clean. I loved the painted and decorated furnitures! It made me feel like I was back home. The hotel is old fashioned in a cosy, mountain style way. It cannot have been refurbished for quite some time, but still it looked good.... More

My wife and I and two friends stayed at Hotel St. Georges for three nights in September. My main reason for picking it was the proximity to the GrossGlockner Road and other Alpine sites. I thought the scenery around the area was simply wonderful and well worth touring either high up above it all or in the valleys. Was not... More

A very pleasant hotel with a traditional Austrian feel. Rooms were adequately sized, we had a double with an additional bed for our son. We would certainly recommend the balcony to make the most of the views towards the lake and for the additional space. Accommodating staff, available but not intrusive. Good contintental breakfast Faultlessly clean rooms and public areas.... More

The staff makes this hotel a very pleasant place to stay. The owner was kind and accommodating. The interior was so well done and authentically Tirolean. Family heirloom furniture, gorgeous drapery, upholstery and paintings in the public spaces make it feel like you've stepped back in time. We thought the food was very good, too. This hotel is just above... More

Sadly we only stayed one night at the St Georg as we were touring around Austria, would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the friendly hospitality. The hotel is well located, a short walk down to the lake and town centre. The room was a good size with an excellent bathroom. We didn't have time to use the... More

Just a 5 minute walk from the all the shopping, site seeing , and restaurants in the quaint little town of Zell Am See. From the moment you enter you are treated like royalty and a friend. The rooms, the breakfast, and the atmosphere are all wonderful.

We stayed for a week at the St Georg in May and loved it. If you want a family run hotel with a cosy, traditional feel and great service then look no further. The hotel is nicely located just outside the town centre in a quieter area (but still only a 5 minute walk). Easy access to the Schmittenhohe cable... More
