A very pleasant hotel with a traditional Austrian feel. Rooms were adequately sized, we had a double with an additional bed for our son. We would certainly recommend the balcony to make the most of the views towards the lake and for the additional space. Accommodating staff, available but not intrusive. Good contintental breakfast Faultlessly clean rooms and public areas.... More

The staff makes this hotel a very pleasant place to stay. The owner was kind and accommodating. The interior was so well done and authentically Tirolean. Family heirloom furniture, gorgeous drapery, upholstery and paintings in the public spaces make it feel like you've stepped back in time. We thought the food was very good, too. This hotel is just above... More

Sadly we only stayed one night at the St Georg as we were touring around Austria, would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the friendly hospitality. The hotel is well located, a short walk down to the lake and town centre. The room was a good size with an excellent bathroom. We didn't have time to use the... More

Just a 5 minute walk from the all the shopping, site seeing , and restaurants in the quaint little town of Zell Am See. From the moment you enter you are treated like royalty and a friend. The rooms, the breakfast, and the atmosphere are all wonderful.

We stayed for a week at the St Georg in May and loved it. If you want a family run hotel with a cosy, traditional feel and great service then look no further. The hotel is nicely located just outside the town centre in a quieter area (but still only a 5 minute walk). Easy access to the Schmittenhohe cable... More

I agree with many of the reviews, this was an excellent place to stay. The room was spacious, the people were friendly and spoke English, the internet perfect, and I loved the balcony. It was also convenient for us to park and enter through the lower level and have the use of the lift. We did not use the spa area... More

Very cozy and home-like with incredible food. Let's start with the food: It was better than any other hotel food I'd ever had. It was like a home-made dish that made you feel warm and happy to be there. The small selection, I think, was good. It meant that you weren't stuck on what to choose. You knew you had... More

Lovely hotel - perfect in many ways. The rooms were very nice, with lovely views from the balcony. Perfect for couples, friends and children. Also the location is great for the town - close enough for a nice walk in, far enough away to not hear the general noise. Would definitely be back!

We stayed for a week and went skiing - not much bad I can say really! Room was basic but clean, although we would have preferred more that one pillow and tea making facilities, the view was pretty of the church opposite and location was pretty good although because of the warm weather we couldn't ski in, but just our...
