The hotel was fine, but the location is amazing as it is on the lake; the view was fabulous from there. The most breathtaking view to wake up to in the morning! Picture perfect. Very clean and comfortable room. This was one of my favorite spots on my visit to Europe for it's beauty and serenity. I just wanted to sit on the deck all day and relax with a cup of tea and a pastry. Aaaaah. more

A fantastic hotel located on the side of lake Zell and only a short walk from the town. The slopes are less than a 10 minute walk through the town.The bus to take you to the slopes stops about 50 yards from the front of the hotel. Rooms are clean, well maintained with some very nice views. Food is excellent... more

My son has some severe food allergies. This hotel was excellent at dealing with these - the best I have found in Europe. The rooms were also great...... although I was rather confused by the plumbing!! Location for skiing was OK but not the best...... but great views over the (frozen) lake. more

Fabulous view, lovely looking hotel, great food, highly expensive drinks... You could probably get the same for less money at one of the other big hotels and perhaps better decorated, I would say this was 3+ stars rather than 4 but for the food. But the balcony with that view of the lake is priceless. more

Stayed at the Grand for one week 7th-14th Feb 09. First time skiing with my 2 young sons and also travelled with grandparents.
