Service: Host is firm, but she runs the hotel like a clockwork. The food is not gourmet, but rather good traditional (local) everyday food, that keeps you satiated. The room was clean and it was sorted every day. There was a nice view down town, and to the mountains from the balcony. There is only 100 meters to the city... More

No one's ever staying at the reception so my key was stolen fron there and my money were stolen from the room even if it was closed. Something like this is inadmissible. I webt to the police but you don't get your money back if something like this happens!!! If I were you, I'd stay away from this hotel. The... More

- best location (directly at ski - very friendly owners - good breakfast (fresh bread, cheeses and meat, yoghurt) and dinner (3 dishes incl fresh salad bar) included When you have reasonable expectations based on what you pay, this is a good stay! Two topics to take into account: it's pretty noisy so take ear pluggs, and for the hotel... More

Ok - the positives......erm..........well the rooms were clean and well serviced every day, they were warm and some had views. Mein hosts - whom I will call Gunther and Matilda, were not what you would call friendly. We were seen as a bit of an inconvenience to their snooze time I think, but to be fair they are knocking on... More

This is not a hotel - but a good hostel...The "hotel" is situated perfect, 5 mins walk from the lift, 2 mins from the pedestrian street.. To be able to park we had to pay 6,5 EUR per day and the money had to paid up-front. Is this hotel style??? Not in my world.. Everything that can be cashed -... More

Very clean and warm hotel in the central location. 3 min walk to ski buses and 5 min walk to express gondola. One huge disadvantage: food... not acceptable from our Polish- English "point of taste". Strongly DO NOT recommend as a half board. It was waste of money. we were close to change the hotel because of the food: breakfast only... More

We stayed at Clasererhaus over Christmas in December 2011. Positives: - Affordable - Good location - in the town centre, short walk from the main Zell am See lift and Kaprun bus stop. - Clean, convenient rooms with nice view - Quiet at night - Very nice sauna Negatives: - No shampoo/shower gel in the room - Sauna didn't work... We stayed here for one week in Dec'11-Jan'12. The hotel and service impressed better than we expected after reading the comments about this hotel. Very cozy and quiet room with a balcony and an amazing view on the Alps. The bathroom was accomplished with a set of towels, a hair-dryer and even a cosmetic mirror. The room was cleaned every... We stayed here few days in the end of august 2011. The hotel locates a short walk from the railway station. Also the bus station and the cabelcar stations to the nearby mountains are close. The lady who runs the hotel was really welcoming and was ready to help us as much as she could. I think her huspand doesn't... More

We stayed here with a group in January 2011. As pensions go, this isn't a bad one. We were very lucky in that the room we got had a balcony (shared) and was quite large (by Austrian pension standards). Our problem was also with the couple who run it. The food was adequate to be fair but on one night... More
