We stayed at the Furberg for two nights, and I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a beautiful room that faced the lake with a balacony. Just lovely to sit out there and relax! The hotel is quaint, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We didn't speak much German, and had a very friendly waiter... more

Stayed here for a week and found it faultless. Spotless rooms, wonderful food & hard working and friendly staff, who could all speak good English. The position on the Wolfgangsee was ideal & enjoyed the boat trips leaving from the hotel pier. I believe it is closed in the winter. So glad we read a great review from a Trip... more

We loved the look of charming St Gilgen, but especially liked our idyllic spot here a bit removed from any traffic or groups of tourists. We booked the third floor suite in the main house. It had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the calm aqua waters of the Wolfgangsee Lake. In the mornings, all you heard were birds singing and waves... more
