The annual boys-only ski trip shifted from its traditional late January Chamonix weekend to an early December weekend in Saalbach. It was with some trepidation that we arrived - fearing that the snow would not have arrived and that the hotel was an unknown. We knew that Saalbach was a great location as one of the boys had recently biked... more

Sara and Kevin were very gracious hosts. They advised us on hikes, adjusted breakfast to our liking, and supplied a delicious dinner on our first night. Their friendliness greatly enhanced our stay and we would definitely stay again at Pension Enzian. more

Pension Enzian can only be described as homely, accommodating, friendly and easily accessible to all around. Kev and Sarah are both brilliant hosts that do their utmost to make your trip amazing. Not been the most adaptable to skiing, Enzian by far made up for that. Kev makes the most fabulous food, in fact I can only best describe his... more

I don't normally contribute to these sites but, just having returned from an absolutely amazing holiday in this wonderful pension felt that I had to advise future travellers. Everything about this place oozes quality, 5 star hotels could learn a lot from Pension Enzian. The owners and staff turn a holiday into an unforgetable experience - nothing is too much... more

The title says it all, really. A group of four of us recently returned from a superb stay at the Hotel Enzian. The British couple who own and run it are very friendly and tremendously accommodating. Food is marvellous and hotel is very convenient for both the slopes and the nightlife. Highly recommended. more

We stayed at the Enzian for 7 days over xmas in 2007 and were totally delighted with our choice of accommodation. We were welcomed by our hosts, Kevin & Sarah, a fun and friendly English couple who own the Enzian. Kevin is the chef and in this instance the travel company had unfortunately not passed on that my partner had... more

We are a family with 2 children ages 15 & 8 and chose this small hotel from comments on Tripadviser. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED !! The owners & staff are great & very friendly & helpful at all times. The kids loved Bailey the St Bernard & he lapped up the attention. The rooms are very clean & the food... more

The location is excellent, a couple of minutes walk from to the bottom of the ski lift. The food is excellent and is better then what my mum can cook (much to her disappointment). The Hotel is sparkling clean, even in the nooks and crannies. Sarah and Kevin are some of the friendliest people I have ever met and made... more
