We stayed at the Alpine Palace in August 2014 for a walking holiday. We initially had a room in the 3* block which was clean, comfortable and had a good view. It was reasonable for a 3* property. However, we were upgraded to the 5* section which is simply outstanding, truly exceptional. We can honestly state that this hotel impressed us... More

We have just returned from a week stay at the Alpine Palace. The Alpine Palace is spilt into two 'sections' the three star section and the five star section, we stayed in the three star. First the good!! The main hotel areas are fantastic, beautifully decorated and immaculate. The lobby, bar and spa are all excellent and very impressive. The... More

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in one of the suites. It was big, at 84 square metres, but not in my opinion finished to a high standard. The old part of the hotel looks very worn and needs to be refurbished. We did not have Wi-Fi in the room and we were told by a gentleman on... More

Was here during June 2014 as part of a stop for a tour. There were not many other guests at the hotel at the time, so it was relatively quiet and the staff positively doted on all of us. The restaurant did a great job with meals and the staff was very attentive to everyone in our group. The bar... More

This was our 5th visit to the hotel. We usually go at the end of the season but came in February half term. We were worried that it might be a mad house. We were wrong it was just as good and the staff coped well with everything that was fired at them. Breakfast was great and you can eat... More

I was working in Saalbach-Hinterglemm for a month so needed a place to train as I am recovering from an injury. I looked around most of the hotels in Hinterglemm before deciding on the Alpine Palace - it has certainly the best gym in Hinterglemm and probably in Saalbach as well. There are a range of different cardio machines (no... More

If you are looking for a luxury ski hotel, then I cannot recommended this highly enough. I stayed here with my wife the last weekend in March 2014. The hotel is definitely 5 star but what makes its so special is their staff, who cannot be more helpful. Food is excellent although drinks / wine can be a bit expensive.... More

I really don't want to write this review. I want to keep this wonderful hotel a secret. Expectations were high after looking at all the photos on line but within 5 mins of entering I knew I wanted to come back. I hadn't been further that the reception at this point. I will definitely be booking up for next year... More

Just returned from a week at the Alpine Palace Wolf hotel in Hinterglemm - we had a brilliant week. Very friendly team (including Denise, Adela & Markus in the restaurant, & Mike the cocktail whizz in the bar!) fantastic facilities - the spa and pools were just ideal after a day on the slopes - great range of pools and... I stayed at the Alpine Palace for three nights in March, it is perfectly located 100 meters from a major ski slope in Saalbach and ski lift adjacent to the hotel and within walking distance of two others on the opposite slopes. The hotel has free ski lockers at street level in the hotel which automatically work with your room... More
