Stayed here for an early season ski holiday. Reception was efficient, welcoming and friendly. Room comfortable with good mattresses in the Austrian twin bed (two mattresses in one frame), but only two quite thin pillows. Breakfast was buffet style, but as soon as you arrived the waiter brought fresh coffee over, tremendous selection of really good, fresh food. Choices for dinner... More

Been here the past 2 years during Snowbombing and we've never had a bad experience, the staff are very friendly, rooms clean, good breakfast, well equipped ski room where you feel comfortable leaving things in as all the other guests are like minded. fantastic location not only for Snowbombing as it's right by the Racket Club although not noisy but... As 2 couples we have stayed here 3 or 4 times and always found the staff polite and welcoming the rooms clean and bright, the meals are buffet type with only the main evening meal served at the table although at times having the main meal is too much for us.{sometimes when there's a coach party the food disappears faster then... Last night we wandered into the outdoor restaurant (under shelter) of the Hotel Berghof. It is a huge Munich style restaurant/beer garden. There were some very energetic entertainers singing and playing local music on the violin, hard and accordion. I am always wary of restaurants with loud music, so we took a table as far away from the entertainers as... More

Stayed for a week late March. Took 3 rooms for a party of 6. This was our 4th return visit. We've skied at other venues but always return to the Berghof. If you love decent sized, well maintained accommodation and fantastic food - we defy you to find better !!!

Just returned from ths Berghof, If I'm honest I don't know if I could recommend it. Starting with the staff...some are good, some are not....if you're a Brit, be prepared to think you're invisible.....the german, Dutch Russians dominate, if you've never been to Austria this is quite common in my experience ( they don't mind taking your money tho')...this goes... We stayed here for a weeks skiing Jan '14, after getting a discounted holiday via Inghams (£500 per head) including half board in the Berghof. Couldn't be happier with the hotel, relative to the price paid for holiday of course. Thats why I've rated value lower than others, I wouldnt have been entirely happy if I paid full whack for... We have just come back from a week snowboarding in Mayrhofen (Jan 14). The resort boasts excellent pistes and great après ski bars and restaurants. We stayed at the Berghof Hotel and booked with Inghams. Inghams were great, seamless transfers, friendly and helpful reps (Chris, Charlotte & Tim). Unfortunately I can not say the same for the reception staff at... More

What a lovely Hotel, best we've stayed in on a Crystal ski holiday. Food was excellent (and lots of it), bar area is clean and spacious with entertainment most nights. Great Spa area and boot room. Only one thing stopping me giving 5 out of 5 was the bed pillows, they were thin and lifeless, had to fold it in... More
