We return to this hotel year after year now. It is family run and many of the staff have been working there for many years which is always a good sign. It is worth upgrading your room for a very small daily charge, as although the rooms allocated through the travel companies are fine, the hotel has some beautiful rooms... More

First bedroom not up to standard of ones seen on website, did get another one which had a great balcony on the front, room was spacious and clean. BUT shower screen was absolutely useless, everytime we had a shower the bathroom floor was like a small swimmimg pool.We were offered towels to mop up the water. took 4 days of complaining... More

I stayed at the Berghof for Snowbombing festival at the beginning of April 2015. Initially I was impressed by the look of the hotel and by the location as it is practically next door to the Racket Club, which was one of the main Snowbombing music venues. However I was a little disappointed when I saw the room we had... More

This traditional Austrian Hotel is run by the Moigg family and the friendly staff clearly enjoy making their staff the most enjoyable. My wife and I were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary whilst away and we received a bottle of bubbly and a note from the owners. The hotel was extremely clean and well kept, the food was excellent and it... More

Receptionist v helpful/ bar/ lounge staff rather surly and grumpy, the room was so smokey and airless we didn't want to go in there at all. The breakfast was excellent, the suppers were very monotonous although lots and lots of food. We had to BUY water in the evenings...this seemed particularly mean on behalf of the hotel and extremely annoying... More

I visited the hotel for a recent trip to Mayrhofen for Snowbombing. The location isn’t too bad, as it’s walking distance to main events at night, however carrying all the snowboarding equipment that far, during the day, is a little tiring, though there is a bus, I believe. The staff are polite and friendly, especially the bar guy Alexis and... More

Couldn't fault it, beautiful hotel, great service, fab location and very good dinner buffet. Walkable to the ski lift but there is also a bus if you are feeling lazy. Bar is also nice in evenings, although the live music might not be to everyone's taste!

We stayed at the Berghof the last week of March 2015 and we travelled to Mayrhofen for the Altitude Comedy festival. This hotel is a 4* hotel and I'm giving it 5 on here based on that. Firstly the hotel itself is a blend of modern with traditional Austrian décor, all was very nice and the place was spotless. Location... More

We were on a trip as 5 adults ranging 26-31 yo on a snowboarding holiday. 4 of us had not done a all inclusive snow holiday before. We booked through Neilsons. We were extremely pleased with the accommodation. The 3rd bed was (I have been told) extremely comfy. The food was delish, so delish, could not stop eating! Our waitress... More

Berghoff is a 4 star hotel with comfortable rooms, spa, lounge, and great restaurant. We stayed three guys in a room during our ski vacation. The ski buses to Penken and Ahorn sites is at the street corner and the main bus and train station for the other sites included in the expanded ski pass is about 100 meters away.... More
