The good stuff. Really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was on the third floor with eaves but was spotlessly clean and had a large floor area. The food was very good with a good choice of main course and an ample buffet selection. Our waiter (Georg from Crete) was very friendly and attentive and a real ambassador for the hotel.... more
Stayed in the hotel for a ski vacation. Room was big, nicely decorated, very clean and convenient. It also had a porch with a nice view. The entire hotel is very nicely decorated as well and feels warm. The hotel has a great spa area with several types of saunas (6, I think), a sweeming pool and a relaxation area.... more
On arrival, friendly welcome from Receptionist and given a meal though it was 10.30pm after a long transfer from Salzburg. Our room was lovely though got a bit cold late at night at there was no heating on. We were in the "St Joseph" section of the hotel. There is a long walk to your room through corridors and a... more
What was good? - (Room was in Annexe.) 1-It was OK with new furniture (booked a room for up to 4 people for 2 of us, so it was an acceptable size). 2-Guided walking programme. 3-Brilliant sauna and steam area in tunnels under the hotel (we had a tour of the area but did not use it). 4-We had a... more
We booked the Neuhaus through Thomson/Crystal because we needed 2 single rooms in addition to our 'family room. The family room and one of the singles was in the Landhaus annex. This building is across the road from the main Hotel Neuhaus, so we could never use the baby monitors making it very restricted in the evenings with the children.... more
We got a last minute deal on the Crystals website when booking we had a choice to pay a supplement between £0 and £15 a night per person we decided not to pay extra and stayed in the Landhaus. Yes it was dated like other people have said but it was clean and tidy and seen as we only paid... more
This review woould have been rated a "terrible" based on the first room we were offered. Booked with Crystal / Thomsons and were initially given a room in the main building up 3 flights of stairs and there was no lift. Thomson Rep was as much use a chocolate fireguard and smirked at us when we complained. No change there... more
We have just returned from a family ski holiday in Mayrhofen, staying at the Neuhaus. We had paid a hefty supplement to Crystal to ensure we would not end up in the annex. We did receive a room in the main hotel but our first impression on being shown our bedroom was of shock and horror. It actually resembles the... more
This is probably the second poshest hotel in the village. (After the Elizabeth, which is 5*) We had seen it in on the net and in brochures. We were not disappointed. We booked a "junior suite" for five nights B&B. It was MASSIVE! (About 16 feet by 45, with a balcony of the same length outside, as we were on... more
