We had a groupon deal, a package including rental car in Munich. Our trip ended up that we missed the flight and the hotell declined the extra payment we hade with flight tickets, breakdown lorry etc. This despite that the hotell confirmed that the reason to the breakdown was the alternator was broken. It also took 3,5 hours at the... More

Two nights in the Ahorn Suite. Modern, well appointed and serviced daily. Mini bar, great shower, seperate toilet, good bed and linen and a Fresco (Galatea) by Raphael on the ceiling above the bed. Terrace room with views to the mountains and quiet, privacy screen between the suites and outdoor setting. Breakfast: plentiful, hot and cold and a wide selection... More

March 2015 - We have only good things to say about Gutshof Zillertal. Staff - all the staff were pleasant to deal with and would do whatever they could to help. Rooms - The rooms are exactly what i would expect from the area of Austria a lot of wood paneling, otherwise you would be any where in the world.... More

Like other reviewers we booked in under a "Luxury Escapes" voucher bought in Australia several months ago. The hotel is meticulous in sending out information as to how this will work and I recommend that you read it well. Everything worked as it should, very efficient indeed. I was worried that we would have problems with the hire car from... More

We stayed here for 6 nights with a luxury escapes voucher, along with another family group. Our fault but we didn't realise it was going to take so long to travel from Munich airport to Zillertal; on the map it's only 192km and mostly motorway but it was snowing heavily and once you get off the motorway the road to... Our family of four with teenage children stayed here for 8 nights and had a fabulous time here. The rooms were clean, warm and quiet, beds comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. We purchased a voucher from Luxury Escapes, which had many inclusions - loan car (GPS, easy pick up/drop off from Munich airport, safe and big enough for 4... More

Situated in the Zillertal valley, at the base of the (Hintertux glacier) mountains. The hotel has a distinctly Austrian facade and restaurant and bar areas also have more traditional architecture and decorating. One side of the hotel is modern, tho we stayed in traditional side (which we prefer). Hotel has a spa area, undercover pool, small gym, inside and outside... More

We had a great week at this hotel. It was a package that I purchased through Luxury Escapes and a very good deal. Hire car for the week, buffet breakfast, 'snack' and dinner provided - 5 courses if you could manage it with a choice of three mains with one vegetarian option each night. The initial room we were given... More
