We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 5 years or so. On previous occasions it has been in early autumn and each time it has always been thoroughly enjoyable. This resort is a combination of superb location on Lake Fuschl which offers stunning views of lake and mountains, peace and lots to do either... More

We booked a Gutl Villa room as a special treat and we're not disappointed! These rooms have a large living area, two bedrooms, two modern bathrooms and a balcony. The expensive room meant that we could dine in the better restaurant and have free parking. Our only complaint was that it wasn't cleaned on the second day. I'm sure it... More

It is difficult to write anything new because the hotel is timeless but does change which is how things should be. We were lucky to find this place many years ago when it was much smaller, but it has never lost it's friendliness or helpfulness over the years although it has certainly grown! The Ebners are such lovely people and... More

This is the most wonderful place, it had everything a pretty picky family group could want. And the food (quantity, quality and availability) was marvellous. All facilities terrific. Golf at The Alm lived up to billing, this is not a mere pitch and putt!

This was one of the nicest places I have stayed with regards to atmosphere and food. The service was friendly, the food fresh, inventive and delicious and you cannot beat the location. I loved swimming in the lake- cold and refreshing- and then heading to the pool to sit by the jets and warm up. They had litlle rowboats and... More

Good hotel for a vacation away from a big city. Fuschl is a small village -- a few hotels, 4-5 restaurants and that's about it, on a wonderful lake among scenic slopes, forests and fields. The hotel is located near the lake, has its own small beach with several boats (wooden, with two oars), and plastic canoes which may be... More

We had a fantastic time at Ebner's Waldhof. What we liked the most: - spa treatments were high standard, it felt like the staff there was properly trained and really knew what they were doing. - outdoor pool was not too busy and had the perfect temperature - Service was really good & the staff was polite - Traditional austrian... Everything about this hotel is special, but the crowning glory is the staff. Herr Ebner leads the team from the front, as my son and I were met at the airport by Herr Ebner himself, and were greeted by him most mornings at breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, and they made us feel like we were... More

This hotel is really lovely - one of the best in Austria, I think. Family owned, traditional, excellent kitchen. Spacious rooms and suites. We had breakfast and dinner in the "Villa Gütl" with 3 restaurant rooms, all are very, very cosy, with niches where you can talk and eat in an intimate atmosphere. We slept deeply and long

Make sure that you book a room with lake view. The spa is amazing! The food is really good, good service, good daily activities. This as been one of the best relaxing days of my life. The rooms are big, good atmosphere, good temperature, colorful. From the main house the bathrooms are quite old (that is the only bad thing).... More
