Very friendly reception, good sized rooms with views to die for. Price includes a pass to use the cable car opposite (worth 8 Euros each time) and a pass to use the Grossglockner road (worth 28 Euros each time). Better to approach from the south (Spittal or Lienz) because if you approach from the north (Salzburg) you lose this perk.... more

A storybook Alpine town, way up in the mountains, clear air, gorgeous views, lovely hotel. Takes a bit of driving to get there, but definitely worth it. Cablecar to top of mountain is a great way to spend a morning. The most adventurous can hike from there, but we decided to just enjoy the view. In the national park, not... more
