we had a log Cabin with a Queen and 2 Twins. very clean! ASK FOR THE LOG CABINS, THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS THE LODGE. Go to the website and see which sleeping arrangement is best suited for you. we loved our stay and just outside of town, but still very walkable to everything. pool is open, but call... More

The room was great! Very knotty piney. Very clean. The breakfast in the morning was basic but fine. The cabins looked nice but we were in the lodge. Short walk to downtown. No pool due to a haol strom :(

We stayed 7days in Custer at the Rock Crest Lodge. The first 3 nights we spent in the 2 bed, 2 bath cabin with our friends. The last 4 nights we moved to individual cabins. My wife and I were in 214. Awesome cabin with great porch and great views. The heat worked well and the beds were really comfortable.... More

The Best Place to stay in Custer. Period. Just what the title says. This is a newer accommodation with very nice lodge rooms and cabins. There is a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Nice free breakfast spread. Very good size fridge, microwave, and a REAL coffee maker (not those dingy single cup ones like Hilton has). Comfy bed, easy-to-use... More

Custer is centrally located to most of the attractions we planned to visit. We stayed four nights in cabin 215, the three twin/1 double lofted sleeping area. The living/dining/kitchen space was sufficiently large. The cabin was clean and the temperature control sufficient with two fans provided for the loft/sleeping area. Three areas of concern, none of which would prevent us... More

My husband and I and another couple stayed here during Sturgis bike week. We had stayed before, hence the second booking, but this time we were disappointed. The location is excellent, you get daily visits from wildlife and the town of Custer is great, and central to everything but the cabin was a disappointment. About half the power outlets didn't... My hubby and I stayed in king bed cabin #216 for four nights during the Blackhills Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis. We have been to the rally before and stayed in lodging closer to Sturgis but we didn't mind the distance from Custer since we wanted to ride all the roads to and fro anyway. The property is a short walking... More

We had a room instead of the cabin, but we felt like we were in a cabin, because the outside had logs. There were cabins on the hill behind us. The room was clean and had a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable. There were quite-a-few children there and they had fun tossing a ball on the front lawn. The... More

Got lucky and had been driving all day trying to find a hotel. Was traveling during Sturgis and everything was sold out town to town. The Staff accidentally double booked a room and we snagged it up. This was with a doubt one of the nicest places we stayed for under 200. Room was very spacious , all new and... More

We had a cabin that was next to the motel rooms and it was very clean and spacious. The nice thing about the lodge is that it is close to town and you can walk around to all the shops and dinner. We did use the pool (outdoor) and it was very nice. They have a washing machine, you have... More
