Wish I was able to stay for one more night. Would go back to this KOA! Friendly staff, helped out in any way and was very clean. I stayed a 4 different KOA campgrounds across the states over the past two weeks and this one ranks as one of the best!

We spent 5 nights here (July 28 - Aug 2) and really enjoyed our stay. Not only is the camp ground central to most attractions in the blackhills but very close to town. Custer has some great restaurants and shopping be sure to wander around town. Our tenting site was small and because the trees are so well trimmed they... More

Clean cabin and restrooms. Watching the bunnies run about was amusing ( they like pancakes). Camp staff was helpful and friendly. Firewood delivery was free. Kids enjoyed the jump pillow. Convenient location to most attractions in the area.

Yet another friendly, well-equipped KOA, though the layout was somewhat confusing. Staff led us to our site, the store was adequately stocked, there were activities for kids (including both a pool and a bouncy pad) and it’s relatively close to town, as well as to most Black Hills attractions. Not a gorgeous park but a dependable KOA site.

They were friendly when we checked in, but when I went back about 5 minutes later to see if we could stay an extra night, the person was not very friendly. She quickly looked at the computer and said "nope" "you know Sturgis is here". Yes, I am well aware of that. I went back to the campsite and looked... More

We loved our cabin. The bathrooms and showers were clean and not busy at all. We loved the bunnies that were everywhere on the property. Our hot chuckwagon breakfast was very convenient and good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were close to the downtown part of Custer, and our destinations of Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.... More

Tent spots were way to close together, about 4 feet between our tent. No vegetation for privacy from neighbors. WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN Bathrooms nice, wifi nice and pillow jump was fun for kids, wish the pool was a little bigger.

We had a great time at this KOA. Staff was very friendly. My son loved the jumping pillow and the bunnies. Bathrooms were better than average. Kabin was in good conditions. Only improvements would be to fix the men's bathroom urinal. Stock more items in the camp store. Also. Fix up the game room a little.

KOA Custer South Dakota is absolutely wonderful. The staff that work there are amazing. The cabins are adorable! There are bunnies everywhere and they are so cute. My daughter had a blast jumping on the giant jumping pillow they have there. Billy is the jack of all trades there and he was amazing. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights (camping) and loved it. The place was well taken care of, the staff was super friendly and the activities were great. The kids (all the kids) loved the jumping pillow. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean. This is also a great place that is close to Custer and all the activities around there.... More
