We stayed 2 nights at this KOA. We stayed in a Kabin w/o bathroom. The bathroom facilities and showers were clean. But what really made this an excellent stay was staff; they were nice and gave great info about where to go based on the time we had. Even the rabits were friendly.

We were a family group renting two cabins for four nights, and we loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful - from office staff to the wood delivery guy (I wish we could remember his name - he was hilarious and provided great service - we loved him!), to the breakfast cooks. Can't really think of anything... More

The best thing about this KOA is the location! Very convenient to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument, Custer state park/wildlife trail and local shops. Their gravel sites are not all level. There isn't a fenced dog park area. They also don't have cable and the mountains and shade made antenna and satellite access impossible for us. They did have good... More

My family had a great time at this location when we weren't busy elsewhere. Kids enjoyed jumping on the blow up toy & swimming. The wifi worked great & restrooms were kept clean with free showers. Only issue was that I was charged an extra $6 per day for my kids that I was not quoted for when I made... More

Wish I was able to stay for one more night. Would go back to this KOA! Friendly staff, helped out in any way and was very clean. I stayed a 4 different KOA campgrounds across the states over the past two weeks and this one ranks as one of the best!

We spent 5 nights here (July 28 - Aug 2) and really enjoyed our stay. Not only is the camp ground central to most attractions in the blackhills but very close to town. Custer has some great restaurants and shopping be sure to wander around town. Our tenting site was small and because the trees are so well trimmed they... More

Clean cabin and restrooms. Watching the bunnies run about was amusing ( they like pancakes). Camp staff was helpful and friendly. Firewood delivery was free. Kids enjoyed the jump pillow. Convenient location to most attractions in the area.

Yet another friendly, well-equipped KOA, though the layout was somewhat confusing. Staff led us to our site, the store was adequately stocked, there were activities for kids (including both a pool and a bouncy pad) and it’s relatively close to town, as well as to most Black Hills attractions. Not a gorgeous park but a dependable KOA site.

They were friendly when we checked in, but when I went back about 5 minutes later to see if we could stay an extra night, the person was not very friendly. She quickly looked at the computer and said "nope" "you know Sturgis is here". Yes, I am well aware of that. I went back to the campsite and looked... More

We loved our cabin. The bathrooms and showers were clean and not busy at all. We loved the bunnies that were everywhere on the property. Our hot chuckwagon breakfast was very convenient and good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were close to the downtown part of Custer, and our destinations of Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.... More
