We stayed 2 nights while vacationingin South Dakota. Our room was very comfortable and homey. The bathroom was large and easy to move around in. Beds were very comfortable as were the chairs in the room. The summer intern that was at the front desk was wonderful to talk to very knowlegeable of the surrounding area and what was worth... More

A beautifully appointed room with a very comfortable bed. The buffalo themed furniture was aesthetically pleasing and tastefully enhanced the atmosphere. So quiet and peaceful. Perfectly located near the wildlife loop and State Game Lodge where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinner. I would highly recommend this accomodation.

Loved the location and the tranquility that came with it! The location is spot on as being in the center of the Custer State Park, the Wildlife Loop is just a short drive away. Just had to walk a little and we could find Deer and Sheep grazing merrily without any fear - well unless you try to get too... More

We stayed at the Creekside Lodge in Custer State Park while there was snow on the ground in December. Keep in mind that this isn't a big old fashioned type of lodge lodge . The lodge is clean, well-kept and empty during the winter months. They were offering a winter special which made it more than reasonable! The staff was... More

Great value. Ok so if your lookin for a five star resort you might be disappointed. But if your looking for a sweet getaway this is the place. I have spent hundreds of dollars and not gotten a cuter room than we had here. Quaint. Close enough to everything. Nice porch. Great value. We will be back.

I have stayed at the Creekside Lodge at least ten times since it opened. Every stay confirms that this small lodge is perfect, especially if you visit during the winter months. It is comfortable, clean and provides the amenities expected of a lodge setting. After a day of wildlife viewing, I always look forward to returning to the lodge, where... More

The location make Creekside! The rooms are clean, large and comfortable (and priced right!). The staff is mostly friendly and helpful (some were less knowledgable than others). But the location makes the hotel! We pulled in and drove right past a bison to get to our rooms! Our rooms look out over the creek and we heard critters walk by... More

Stayed here for 1 nite. Had a king room which was very clean & nicely furnished with a sofa & 2 overstuffed chairs in a rustic pattern. Had a wonderful lodge feeling. Quiet. Nice view. Had a delicious dinner at the State Game Lodge which is across the parking lot, Wildlife driving trail is less than 1 mile away. Got... More

We stayed here for the location in Cusyer State Park only. It is totally worth it to stay inside the park for a Black Hills/Mount Rushmore trip!! Saves you at least 30 min each way every day. The girl at the front desk upon check in was neither friendly, nor helpful, but I'd bet she was a summer intern. I... More

The rooms at creek side are on the level of a Holiday Inn... probably a 2.5 star hotel. Everything seemed clean and the lobby area was very nice. For the money.. this place is a bit over priced. If I were to visit the area again I doubt very seriously if I would stay here again. The only real thing... More
