Very nice place, well maintained and clean, close to the town of Custer. Central to a lot of the site seeing spots. Small laundromat and store only has limited items firewood, ice, pop & ice cream. Cabins, tents, large and small RV spots..

We rented our camping cabin based on the advertisement. In the photos, they showed the beds, table, and microwave. When we arrived, no microwave. When we asked why we did not have one, the reply was just to got out of their park!!! This is very deceptive advertising. There are plenty of places with camping cabins. We will never go... More

so so. Some of the staff were great. Some were rude. Don't expect anything and you will be satisfied. We just used it as a place to park the camper while sight seeing. Our lot stayed muddy the entire stay.

This camp ground was easy to find, had friendly staff, nice sized grass and gravel campsites, spotless restrooms, a fire pit on each site and their own car rentals. Close proximity to Custer State Park. A ton of wildlife in the area, Would recommend to anyone and would definitely go back.

First, I have to say I read some of the terrible and poor reviews on here and campers never cease to amaze me at times. If you are looking for four star service, you shouldn't be camping. If you're going to rent a car, one would think you would do that through a car rental agency, not a campground and... More

A beautiful gulch setting, a pond, semi secluded, charming cabins and facilities that don't distract from the Wild West setting, but enhance it. Large RV sites, friendly staff, clean manicured sites and grounds, bathrooms and laundry (we were unable to use though, due to a current repainting). The only reason we didn't give them 4 stars was lack of food... More

I rented ATVs this place twice, the first time in the summer the experience with Custer's Gulch was okay and the ATVs were really fun. We rented them a second time in the fall and did not have a good experience at all. The owners where rude, disrespectful, and belligerent. The lady said herself that their main concern was making... The sites are so spacious and green! The whole place is quiet - it is more of an adult campground (no kids facilities). The bathrooms were nice and clean. The site was level. Great location to get to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and not a far drive to Mount Rushmore. The skies were so dark and beautiful. Fire pits... More

This campground is set back from the road so you won't hear any road noise. Luckily, the logging operation was shut down, too. The campground was very, very quiet; I loathe people noise and I was as happy as the proverbial clam. The rock formations behind it are beautiful. The grounds were very clean and the grass was mowed. Our... More

This campground is a very private and beautiful place to camp, that being said, the day we arrived at 9 am, we walked in to the office to check in. We were told that check in was at 1 pm. We have no problem with the check in time if we had been told that before. Also, the way we... More
