Pros: very clean site, very private individual sites, very clean bathrooms/showers, nice friendly staff Cons: we had a site all the way at the end of the camp site so walking to the bathrooms was bit of a drag

We camped here during the Sturgis 2014 Motorcycle Rally in a 39' Fifth Wheel Toyhauler. From the moment we entered the RV Park we were greeted by a warm and friendly face. From there everything just got better. The park is laid out so that there is privacy between units, a nice grassy area to relax and great hook up... More

This is the perfect camping spot. The campground is surrounded by the mountains in the middle of the forrest. This place was absolutely gorgeous. The view was stunning. It's very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this campground. I will definitely camp here again.

Nice spacious sites in this park. We were at the top of the park and it was a long way down to the restrooms and laundry. No road noise at all .and it was nice to hear the wind thru the trees. Not far from town to pick up supplies.

We camped for only one night in our RV, and wished we could stay longer. The campsite was very large, and level. The hookups were easily accessible. The shower house was always very clean. The staff was great. Highly recommend staying here. The sunrise was beautiful!

My husband and I stayed in a cabin at this campground! It was a perfect place to stay. Cabin had two bunk beds with full size beds on the bottom. A microwave, small fridge, table chairs, just what we needed. The showers and restrooms were very clean. Very well kept campground. Loved being able to ride our Utv right from campground.... More

We had a fabulous stay at this great campsite. We were here a week arriving on 4th July, we had some Good Sam's discount but not understandably for the holiday weekend. Very friendly helpful staff. Tarmac roads and grail sites. No cable and our antenna did not pick up any channels but not an issue for us the most important... More

We chose Custer's Gulch as a base camp for our stay to visit Mt. Rushmore. We are glad we did. The park is close to town, Custer State Park and other attractions in this area. Our campsite backed up to Black Hills National Forest. The sites are large with grassy areas between each site, picnic table and a fire pit.... More

After discovering that all tent sites in Custer were booked, my husband, son and I found ourselves without a place to stay for three days at the start of the 4th of July weekend. After looking at one campground that NONE of us wanted stay at we went to check out Custer's Gulch. We are so lucky that they had... More

We rented a cabin. The staff was excellent. Showers were clean and nice. I would stay here again. I only wish there was more here to help keep the kids busy. Other campgrounds offer play areas or pools which helps while parents are cooking. Overall location was beautiful.
