Stop #4 of 17- Sept 2015= Cabin well equipped, plenty of room and the other cabins were like ours close to the restaurant. Do not miss the Chuck Wagon Dinner. The ride, guests, and staff and the entertainment were first class. What a wonderful stay. AND PET FRIENDLY

We rented a cabin at Blue Bell Lodge this summer and were so pleased. Lots of attention to detail, from nicely-stocked kitchen supplies to firewood ready outside for your own fire pit. This was such a cute cabin and in such a beautiful park, I would love to go back. See the photos for more info -- even the list... More

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor and getting advice from a friend, my husband and I chose Blue Bell Lodge for our trip to Custer and couldn't have been happier. We loved our time there. Check-in was interesting. The resort “front desk” was the same as the restaurant host stand. But check-in was fast and we were soon on our... More

We rented a cabin at Blue Bell at the end of the season so got a great rate. Our cabin had two Queens and a fireplace. It was perfect for two parents and two children. The kitchenette was small but completely adequate and we even managed to make a small dinner one night. In the middle of October it did... More

I underestimated the draw of the annual Custer Buffalo Round-up. By the time I called for lodging reservations, only two rooms were left in the park, and not in my first choice. It turns out the Blue Bell is ideally located, an attractive, quiet cabin colony, with a very nice dining room. Our cabin looked fairly new and was nicely... More

We spent 2 nights in one of the cabins at the Blue Bell Lodge. It is a great location within Custer State Park. The horse stables are very close if you want to do a trail ride. I would highly recommend it. We also enjoyed the Chuckwagon event one evening. My only advice is the sofa pull-out bed was very... More

We were there only for lunch, by chance. I wish we had know of it earlier as it looks like a perfect place to stay. Lunch was great. We were outside under an umbrella. It was so peaceful. The lodge itself is so cute -- log. There are cabins. The big plus is the location. Custus State Park is full... More

The grounds are wonderful, nice walks around the cabins. Maybe a five minute walk to the restaurant and bar. Seen turkeys, deer, rabbit, buffalo turds so hey are around. We stayed in cabin 15, very nice! Large bedroom with a table(plenty of nice chairs), wood burning fireplace, nice little kitchenette, and a full bathroom.

You can't beat the setting for the cabins. Nestled in the pine trees inside the park. If being near nature is where you want to be it is a great location. The cabin was equipped with most everything we needed but could use a bit of updating. Nice to have our own fire pit for campfires. Had flocks of wild... More
