This is our fourth stay at Cielito Sur and Janet and Glenn Lee just keep doing it better with each stay. Cielito Sur is in a perfect location of take advantage of some of Panama's best hiking. Janet's breakfast are tasty and Glenn's coffee really starts your day off on the right foot. Each of the B&B's four rooms is... more

We were torn over where to stay at Cerra Punta. We read a lot and considered places like Los Quetzales Lodge. Boy are we glad we chose Cielito Sur. It was everything the tripadvisor reviews said it would be. While there, Finca Dracula (take the tour) is not to be missed. Also, Los Quetzales trail is washed out, it could... more

Very responsive owners Glenn and Janet Lee who helped us decide to rent a car at David and drive up to the highlands (a good decision). Also helped us find excellent birding guides to take us to the Baru Volcan. Breakfast made with home grown coffee and eggs from their own hens, very very good. Rooms large, comfortable, beautifully decorated.... more

We were at Janet & Glen for our 4th time. Half way between the peak of Volcan Baru where we saw the Resplendant Quetzals and the foothills where we saw the Crested Guan. These are gems in the birding world, This place is for the birds and birders. The hospitality is topnotch , the gardens magnificent and so are the... more

Just stayed 3 nights there with 2 friends and we would rather call it Motel than B&B. Indeed, the 4 rooms plus a living room are located in a building next to the house. Breafast is served in the main house. Talking of breakfast, we had the 1st one to go. It was awful: egg & ham sandwiches that obviously... more

We did not find a better lodging experience in thirty days of Panamanian travel. Our room was spotless, well appointed, and in excellent maintenance. The breakfast was a 12 on a 10 point scale. The owners, Janet and Glenn make a genuine effort to exceed your expectations in hospitality. Their hummingbirds will create photos and movies beyound your immagination. Book... more

We stay at Cielito Sur whenever we are in Panama's western highlands. This is the nicest bed and breakfast we have experienced anywhere and the hosts, Glen and Janet Lee, are warm, personable and attentive. The rooms are beautifully decorated with top quality beds and bedding. The bathrooms are clean and even have tubs, rather a rarity in this part... more

Once again, I stayed at Cielito Sur this past summer. Everything from the room to the food to the attention was exceptional. There are 4 rooms, which are like museums loaded with the arts and crafts of 4 different indigenous tribes of Panama. The beds are comfortable and the accommodation is carefully stocked with all you will need and more.... more
