I do not recommend this hotel at all. At least until they finish with the remodeling. Fail in every way possible. I had a tour group there this September 2014. Most windows face the hallway. Very small rooms. And no handles or anything for handicapped in the rooms. They are planning to change the name to number 77. And they... More

I was so excited when I booked a room at the Ambassador. The pic's on the website makes it look so enchanting and beautiful. Let me tell you the hotel is anything but that! I understand being under renovation and our room was newly painted and was clean BUT the door to the rooms are glass with a OLD mini... More

As stated in other reviews, the hotel is under construction so work is being done all over. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Upon entering, there was a water leak issue in our room but staff quickly called someone to work on it and we were immediately switched to another room. The rooms were neat and clean but the location... More

Pretty Great Hotel. The doors have trouble closing in our tower so you would hear slamming or doors at all hours of the day or morning. Aside from that the rooms were clean and tidy. Nice Hotel. Just out side the French Quarter it was close enough for sure.

I will hope that AFTER the renovations are complete this will be a lovely hotel. But with renovations in full swing, it is best to avoid. The staff was nice and tried to be accommodating and the location is great for hitting all the tourist sites in the city. We checked in Saturday afternoon, had fun in the Quarter all... More

this was and I believe will be a beautiful hotel; they are undergoing renovations at this time. the staff was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect! the hotel was a bit dirty, dusty, may be due to all the construction work in process

I got a fantastic deal through priceline for this hotel. I read the reviews and was a bit skeptical, but after calling the hotel and speaking to someone I felt better. I was told they were undergoing some renovations and the rooms that were pictured online were out of the inventory. My first issue was with the $9.95 It was... More

It's unfortunate to hear that you were unhappy with your reservation here. We always want to be upfront and honest with our customers, so we like to notify everyone of the renovations ahead of time. They should be complete sometime in the near future so that every room is in top-notch shape, but I apologize if the room you received... More

We were able to book this hotel for $60/night (including taxes) + $10/night mandatory fee charged upon check-in allegedly for breakfast, internet and gym. The total was $70 per night. Compare to all other hotels in the area it was a fantastic deal. Even though I agree with many other reviewers that $10 fee is just a way to make... More

I'm happy you enjoyed your stay here overall, Yulia, and I really appreciate the candid feedback. I apologize if our renovations were distracting in any way, but they should be complete sometime later this fall. Would love the chance to welcome you back again when all our new updates are in place. Thank you again for leaving this review. All... More

Stayed here Labor Day Weekend. Got a GREAT rate thru Groupon, so I'm not as upset about the hotel as others. But it is in bad shape right now. There is construction going on...I'm not sure on what though. The staff was fine, no problems with check in, other than my room not being ready until 4PM. The location is... More

I'm glad you snagged a good deal on Groupon, but it's a bummer to hear you didn't love your stay with us. We are currently under construction to update the hotel overall, and that's scheduled to finish up later this fall. I apologize if it was a problem during your visit, but I'd love to welcome you back when it's... More
