This hotel would receive a higher rating if it wasn't for the poor thinking in the design of the building. The hotel is basically a box with the rooms around a gallery which is open to the atrium. Directly below is the breakfast area. The floors are hard surfaced which basically turn the free breakfast rush into a concert with... More

My husband and I stayed a night in a small hotel in the French Quarter and then move to the Hyatt. We were thrilled with the great king room, complementary hot breakfast and wonderful staff who went above and beyond. Thank you!

I traveled to New Orleands with my husband to attend a friend's destination wedding in Oct 2013. The hotel is located accross the street from the convention center, about a 20-30 minute walk from the French Quarter ($7 cab ride) and a 10 minute walk from the Trolley. Our room was spacious, although they have a limited number of king... More

Moved to this hotel in mid-week and glad we did. Great up-to-date facility, clean spacious room with plenty of both closet and drawer space, excellent included hot and cold breakfast choices and attentive as well as friendly staff.

You can walk to the French Quarter, but I recommend some good walking shoes. It took us about 20 minutes, but the sites and sounds of New Orleans kept us entertained. Our room had a plumbing issue twice, but each time a maintenance person showed up within 10 minutes of our call. I think the hotel has gone through a... More

This place is very convenient for a conference at the convention center. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It's annoying that you have to use your card to activate the elevator and the worse is that the breakfast is suppose to go until 10 but they start removing tje food like 20 minutes before. I was taking some food and... More

This was a really nice hotel. Very modern looking lobby & friendly reception desk staff. Room was clean, all the linens on the bed were bright white so you know they were cleaned. I never heard anyone in the hallway or the elevator which I thought would be a problem because our room was right across from the elevators. There... More

We stayed here the night before our carnival cruise on the elation. Great place...clean, nice, secure. Breakfast was wonderful! They served their skillet selection...egg, bacon, cheese on biscuit, pancakes, bagels, cereal, very nice selection. We had a king suite..huge and clean. Just 2 minutes from pier. We parked in the garage next door to the hotel instead of using valet... More

Stayed at this hotel in early September (Thurs-Sun) for a girls weekend getaway. First time to NOLA! Although located in the upcoming warehouse district, there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby (<5 min walk). We didn't find the need for transportation very often as we felt very safe walking to the nearby districts. (Garden/French Quarter/Frenchmen is a... More

The reception staff were always very friendly, as was the doorman. We liked our spacious room and shower. The King bed was comfortable. We would have preferred firm pillows. The breakfast had a lot to offer, especially the ham, cheese & egg English muffins, which were tasty. Fresh fruit like the sweet grapefruit was nice. The wifi was always working... More
