We stayed here for one night before a cruise on the Norwegian Spirit. We arrived around 11am, and our room was not ready yet, but the front desk staff was happy to store our luggage until the room would be ready in the afternoon. The hotel was nicely decorated, clean, and had great service. The room itself was larger than... more

This hotel is located just a couple of blocks away from the convention center, at 300 Julia St.. It is around the corner from the world famous Emeril's Restaurant, among other restaurants, hotels and art galleries. It has a beautiful little courtyard where the pool is located in a garden setting that includes a small pagoda. Second floor rooms are... more

I stayed here for two nights on the first weekend of Jazz Fest 2009. The room was nice and large and as the big snorer of the group I took the hideaway bed in the living room while my buddies took the two beds in the bedroom. It's a pretty quiet bedroom, but I had some noise issues in the... more

I stayed at the Courtyard for 5 nights to attend a conference at the convetions center. Check-in was handled expediently and they honored my request for a room away from the night club across the street from one side of the hotel. The room iteslf was clean and well appointed, if nothing particularly special. The beds were comfy, there were... more

If you like hotels with some architectural interest - this is for you. Apparently the Courtyard was built in an old warehouse. The lobby is cool and the rooms have exposed old brick. The staff here is wonderful. VEry helpful in dealing with a missing package. Made 100 double sided copies for FREE when the package did not arrive on... more

Healthy hike to Bourbon street, but definately doable. As far as being on par with other Marriott's it runs on the low end. The staff is marginal, and room issues were never resolved. more

This hotel is very nice and close to river walk and convention center away from the quarter but close enough to walk. My husband and I stayed here for our 1 st anniversary. Checkin was very slow and not very inviting. When they say check in is at 3 p.m. they mean it we got there at 2:45 and we... more

If you are looking for a great value downtown New Orleans outside of the French Quarter this is the hotel for you. I stayed the day before Mardi Gras and the hotel was on the parade route that night. The room was a standard Courtyard room and with the booking through priceline, the value was excellent. The location is one... more

in Downtown New Orleans. Our room was enormous with King size bed, pull out sofa and vaulted ceiling. The bedding, curved shower rod and flat screen TV were all nice amenities. We never encounted outside noise issues in our second floor room. If you are attending an event at Convention Center, boarding a cruise ship or celebrating Mardi Gras uptown;... more

We were in NOLA for the 2009 Mardi Gras Marathon. The Courtyard was perfectly located between the Expo. and the Start/Finish Line. This property is located about 50 feet (no exaggeration) from a VERY popular nightclub. On both Friday and Saturday nights, we were awakended by loud music from cars congregating outside the club. The noise was so loud, our... more
