I stayed at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside while attending a conference at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, which was an easy walk from the Hotel. The location was convenient to the French Quarter, offered views of the Mississippi River, direct access to the Riverwalk Marketplace and the Canal street car stop was just steps from the Hotel entrance.... more

The Hilton is magnificently located and appointed. The check-in is a little confusing - hidden away on the second floor. Room very nice, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Starbucks quick breakfast on 2nd floor very convenient for conventioneers. BUT it is MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE for what they give you, $270 per night is outrageous. They are obviously putting the squeeze... more

Perfectly ok in an 80s sort of way; uninspired, uninteresting and little or no good stuff comes with the room-- no free internet, no breakfast, there is a coffee/tea machine, no robes. The fitness center is great; not sure if it's free if you aren't with a convention meeting. The room itself was perfectly forgettable but the bed was reasonably... more

The Hilton is centrally located to all the fun things to see and do in New Orleans: from riding the ferry to Algiers, to Magazine Street, Bourbon Street - not to mention FOOD! more

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is on the river (with easy access to the Riverwalk shops and restaurants as well as a riverboat), near street car lines, near the casino, and an easy walk to the French Quarter. Taxis always available. The rooms were pretty standard but nice- beds were comfy, we had a nice flat screen... more

I paid $260/night (one king size bed) to stay at this hotel during a convention. For that price, I was rather shocked when neither breakfast nor internet was included in the price since certainly one could stay at a more moderately priced hotel (e.g. Holiday Inn, etc.) and expect such services to be included. There was also no included airport... more

As the contact person for a block of rooms for my daughter's wedding, I was slightly disappointed when we arrived and the rooms we blocked were not as deluxe as I envisioned. After discussing it with them, the hotel sales dept. went absolutely overboard to make me (us) happy. The entire group was upgraded and the experience was made to... more

The location of this property is great for visiting the French Quarter, casinos, or just relaxing after a long work day. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff goes out of their way to accomodate any guest request. The property has a great work out facility and several dining choices...you have to go to Drago's and have the... more
