Beautiful location on the river. Rooms are huge and fantastic. View was incredibly special. Breakfast buffet was scrumptous. Dinner at Dragos was exceptional. Parking folks sucked!!!!! Can walk right out of hotel into Riverwalk Mall shopping center. Location to French Quarter is perfect. more

Not really understanding all of the negative reviews, but everyone's experience is different. Our family booked 3 rooms and all arrived at different times. The front desk was very efficient considering the number of people arriving for the Essence Festival that was going on. When I drive into New Orleans, I want to stay at a place that is beautiful, comfortable and safe. I was delighted to pull in to the Hilton Riverside where parking was easy, directions were clear through this massive place and customer service was number one. I liked the location of the hotel because it was within walking distance of the French Quarter. I had a massage at the fitness center, which was relaxing. The only drawback was the $30 a day fee for self parking. more
