I stayed at this location for 8 nights. The staff was courteous and informative. The room was comfortable and its location was just what I requested. It could use some minor touchups and the carpet cleaned. The parking was a bit expensive considering the room rate. The Spirits Bar food was good but pricey. The Crescent City Marketplace snacks were... More

Was here for a conference, like many others, and i was impressed with how the hotel handled the crowd. The elevators were split so you didn't have to stop on all the floors, but were with others on similar floors, so you seemed to get up and down quickly. Loved the ability to walk to so many great restaurants, as... More

This hotel claims to be in the quarter, but is actually a very good distance away from it. You can walk there, but it's a long walk. The hotel isn't a great price for the location. There are many hotels directly in the quarter for less money.

We had a room on the 24th floor, 169 per night conference rate, including taxes about $200. It was within walking distance to the conference centre, bus service, streetcar riverside, riverside walk, shopping, Harrah's. Drago restaurant on the main floor. We went to a nice quiet piano bar there which they had opened recently. There was a "boil water" advisory... More

My family stayed for a weekend. We had a 2 queen river view room in the main tower. The room on the 16 th floor was nice and had a good view of the Mississippi and the fountain. The front desk was friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The hotel has two pools. A very small one in... More

Stayed at this Hilton for a few nights before embarking on a cruise from New Orleans. The location is key for this....literally 1/2 mile to the cruise port from the hotel. You can walk it but with luggage and kids you may want to opt for the taxi....$7/person, which is pricey given the distance but maintaining sanity is well worth... More

Definitely, this hotel is the best choice If you are looking for something good located. It is possible to go to the french Quarter walking, but the streetcar stop is next to the hotel, making it the best choice. The staff is good. The hotel doesn't have free wifi in the rooms and the wifi in the lobby isn't good.

Stayed here for a week in July. The Hilton is central to a lot of great things that make this a special city. The French Quarter, the Aquarium, the WWII museum, the casino. We stayed on the 26th floor, the views of the river were really great, and breakfast in the executive lounge was very good. The River Walk Mall... More

I was there last week for a conference and was satisfied with the room/accommodations except for the air conditioning. It seemed like it had a mind of it's own as to what temp it wanted to maintain. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large, airy and clean. The beds were comfortable and overall the stay was pleasant.... More

We were here for a conference. It was our first time in New Orleans and we found the location to be perfect for exploring the area on foot. We were able to walk along the river boardwalk, the French Quarter and over to the WWII museum. The hotel was nice, clean and the room was spacious. The convention area was... More
