Prince Conti is located literally in the heart of the French quarter. It is one block from the decadent but fun Bourbon Street, a few blocks from Canal Street and within easy walking distance of Jackson Square. The staff was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions. For the price, this hotel is a real gem and bargain. The... More

I stayed at the Prince Conti with a friend. The pros: Our room was a decent size and fairly comfortable. The hotel's Cafe Conti serves a great breakfast! My friend and I ate there twice during our stay and our meals were delicious both times. The hotel is also in a great location -- just a few minutes from the... More

Traveling by myself to New Orleans for a family funeral, I needed a hotel room quickly and wanted something in an area where I could easily walk to restaurants. I had stayed at the Dauphine Orleans Hotel a few months earlier, during a conference, and would have loved to stay there again, but it was booked. So, I saw Prince... More

Thanks to fellow travellers for their reviews which resulted in our stay at the Prince Conti! We had the smaller room which was perfect for us. The hotel and room were very clean. We never had hot water at night, but that was not a problem in the morning. When we first went for a walk to see Bourbon St,... More

Older French Quarter takes you back in time. All staff were friendly and always said hello in passing. Great location near FQ clubs and bars. Short walk to Canal Street. Stayed in room 300 which was quiet, although a bit of exercise with no elevator...but large room and bath was well worth it. Will definitely be back!

This hotel is a half block from Bourbon street but you won't hear any street noise in your room. Rooms are on the small side but that's the norm in the quarter. The bathroom was also on the small side but clean. One of the queen beds in our room was a little lumpy but wasn't too bad. $31/day valet... More

Stayed here in June 2014 for a conference in NO. This place was suggested by a colleague who had stayed here in previous years. Little did we know, the hotel has an "older" side and an "updated" side. We unfortunately got the "older" side. It is an older hotel and I'm sure it's got a lot of history behind it.... More

Me and a group of friends stayed here for 5 days for spring break. The location was great because it was literally a block away from bourbon & you didn't get disturbed by all the noise but you were so close to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were super comfy. The only thing I didn't... More

Other than my hotel room having an undeniably springy mattress and a curtain rod that fell down, the hotel creates this old world charm and feel that many of its surrounding hotels do not. Many of its spaces (from the lobby to the rooms to the cafe) are reminiscent of its French and Spanish colonial past. Don't forget to visit... More
