The location, indeed, could not be more perfect. In the middle of the French Quarter, one block away from the Canal Boulevard, couple of blocks from the French market, surrounded by antique stores and They offer a free glass of wine, the room was spacious and nicely decorated, the interior court really add to the character of this place however... Although a charming old hotel in a great location, warning----do NOT accept a room adjacent to the elevators. At least not if you want to get any sleep. It is not like beig next to the elevator in a Marriott, for example; the noise is almost deafening. I arrived after a miserable day of cancelled flights at 1:05 AM, got... More

Would absolutely stay here again. Spacious room with two queen beds, free water in room, free wifi, fridge, safe. Nicely decorated. The breakfast is included and is fantastic. Many selections and freshly cooked. Coffee was amazing! Staff was friendly and accommodating. The wine bar is gorgeous!!!and they give you 2 free drink tickets. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this... More

My wife and I along with friends stayed here February 5-8, 2015. We found it to be a great hotel. Have stayed in the quarter several times before and for the value was a great expeerience. Rooms clean and good size. Full buffet breakfast included every day with good selection. Two very nice bars. One somewhat intimate and the other... More

We stayed here 5 nights. The only bad is that the walls are super super thin. Now the good: The rooms (at least ours) have been redone very nicely. They have a free breakfast each morning that is run by Milca. She and her staff do a great job of keeping everything filled and fresh. The scrambled eggs are real... More

I recently stayed at Hotel Mazarin in the heart of the French Quarter. It was one week before Mardi Gras, so all bets are off whether my review would stand up in that madness! Hotel Mazarin is designed around a cobbled tile courtyard featuring an "old world style" central water fountain with rooms situation around all 4 corners. Suites are... More

The hotel was everything we expected and more. It was clean, neat and well appointed. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Two great bars and a full and fantastic breakfast waiting for you every morning. The Mazarin is convenient not only to the French Quarter but also to Canal St. and downtown New Orleans. We loved it and had... More

It started 8 months prior to our visit with a discussion with Peter in Sales about reserving a room for Mardi Gras and which rooms would be best. His advice and patience were invaluable. The hotel looks exactly like the photos - not always the case so a bonus! - and the staff are quick and efficient. Mardi Gras is,... More
