I got a relatively low rate at this Westin, well below what it usually goes for. Staying there the night after a bachelor party (where we stayed at a different, less nice hotel in New Orleans) a friend and I appreciated the comfortable beds as we needed to rest. We didn't really use any hotel services or bother with going... more

Great location and very clean all over. Rooftop pool offers a view of the St Louis Cathedral and Mississippi River. The staff was extremely nice. Easy walk to Bourbon St and Cafe Du Monde. Downsides: the elevators to the room requires a transfer on the 11th floor and we found the cold tap water to be lukewarm no matter how... more

Guess I was expecting more than I received on this one night stay. Although the room was comfortable and the ammenities were adequate, I just couldn't enjoy myself. For one thing, the picture quality on the TV was below average. Also, all night long I could hear a drippiing sound which I believe was coming from the refreshment center in... more

The hotel is situated on the river, between the business district and French Quarter. It is a very convienent location, however to get to the guest room, you needed to go on two seperate elevators. The elevators were extremely slow and often so packed that you were required to wait for another because there was no room for you to... more

I have just returned from N.O. accompanying my wife to a Nurses Convention May16-21 staying at The Weston Canal Street. This was such a delight. The lobby starts at the 11th floor with a great view of the river! Our room was on the 26 floor and again the view was fantastic. I met the head of housekeeping, Malik and... more

I usually stay at The W (on Poydras Street) or the Loews while in New Orleans however on a recommendation from a friend I decided to stay at The Westin on Rue Iberville! What a Great Surprise, the rooms are freshly renovated and beautiful, modern and spacious. The staff at this property was excellent, something hard to come by in... more

We stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The room was large, clean, and luxurious with a fantastic view of the river. The bed was probably one of the best hotel beds I've ever slep in. The location was wonderful - close to everything - French Quarter, Canal Street, Aquarium, River Walk, street cars, etc. The staff... more

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and have enjoyed it both times. Had two rooms booked for three nights. One king and one king suite. Both rooms were very spacious and clean. The suite had a living room and separate bedroom. Plus a dressing area and larger bathroom. Heavenly beds and great toiletries in both rooms.... more
