I booked this hotel a fee weeks in advance for a wedding in New Orleans. I had stayed at the old Clarion on Canal St. before which had recently changed names. I thought I would try this one and see how it was. I got a good rate through the choicehotels website. Parking was $20 a day but its downtown... More

My husband and I stayed at the Queen & Crescent for a few days at the end of May. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews and before arriving, prepared ourselves for the worse. Thankfully the hotel was better than I had expected. The people at the front desk (w/ the exception of 1) were extremely... More

We found the Hotel VERY nice! After reading all the reviews, I took a chance and booked the Hotel. For the price, it couldn't be beat!!! The room was small, But very nicely decorated. We had no view, but we didn't care! And yes the bathroom may be small also, but we didn't care! Water pressure was low, but we... More

Great location, nice rooms, quiet. BUT, they have a cheesy "resort fee" which covers such things as in-room coffee, hairdryer and safe. The safe didn't work, I have my own hair dryer, and use the little coffee maker one time in 5 days, making it a $30 cup of coffee. Really, these are the most basic amenities and if they... More

I have stayed at this hotel a few times, the only reason for coming back was because it is so affordable. The location I have to admit is great, but it stops there. There is no "free" breakfast. They do not have any food whatsoever. The last stay I woke up to find ants in the bed.....that was pretty disgusting. In... More

After reading several negative comments after booking a room, I was concerned when I arrived. It's not the ultimate in luxury, but I was pleasantly surprised when I had an overall good experience. I had a king-size bed in the annex building. Though no one on staff is stationed inside, the revolving door is locked after-hours and the building is... More

Arrived around 10 PM on a Saturday night. Opted to not use their parking after reading reviews that you could find street parking. This was not a problem at all. We ended up parking right by the hotel for free. We had a room in the annex building next door. It was okay. If I was spending a lot of... More

We stayed in the annex of this hotel which has a separate but secure entrance. The hotel itself is older, as are most in NO; but, it was obviously totally refurbished and has all new furnishings. It is was known as a "boutique" hotel. Its about 5 blocks to Bourbon St and another 2 more to Decatur. The weather was... More

Beware! The Queen and Crescent touts itself as a boutique hotel. This is a marketing ploy! Instead it is an old run down hotel and poor customer service. When I checked in they gave me a queen size room in the building across the street. To my dismay, the room did not have any windows! I called the front desk... More

I had used and sent clients to the Queen and Crescent about 4-5 years ago. Beware there are 2 buildings- 1 is the hotel and the other is apartments with no security no lobby nothing at all. Well, 4-5 years ago the hotel was very nice, upscale and fully staffed-no details missed. What a change. I travel to NOLA frequently... More
