We booked the Q&C as a mystery hotel so we didn't really know what to expect when we got there. We were blown away by how nice it was. The room was excellent with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Also, there was a lot of technology provided in the room that we didn't expect... More

So glad we chose Q&C for our stay in New Orleans. The location is great; you'll find it an easy walk to the French Quarter, Riverwalk, streetcars, and free concerts in Jackson park. The room was clean and comfortable. The little bar/restaurant downstairs was a pleasant surprise with a nice happy hour and good eats. The staff were all very... More

I stayed there for a wedding on the French quarter festival weekend. The room is a bit pricey and not that big but everything is well designed, fitting the city history and atmosphere and spotless clean. The location is convenient, not far from the French quarter. The staff is nice and the food very good.

Chic lobby in this twin tower boutique CBD hotel. Vibe is good. Rooms are notably small and designed for efficiency. Well done, clean and beds are comfy. The down is a biggy. Noise level grime street and adjoining room(s) is a real problem. It isn't the walls in this old but renovated "B" building. It's the floor to ceiling windows... More

This is our eighth trip to NOLA and we are glad we choose the Q&C. Had a room on the eighth floor which was very quiet. The bathroom was nice although it lacks a fan. Nice to have the fridge. Easy walking to FQ, river front, and streetcars. The front desk arranged for taxi to take us to airport and... More

The Q&C offers a fabulous location and great staff. Easy walk to the French Quarter and various sites. Morning breakfast was excellent. Lovely room. Staff very helpful. We hope to return. On our voyage from San Tan Valley to Cobourg Ontario with one of our grandchildren. Touring the USA south west cities.

Interesting, beautiful decor and just outside the French Quarter, away from craziness but short walk to everywhere. It still has original wood floors but has been updated with plugs everywhere, nice TV, Keurig, nice linens. Structure is older so bathroom isn't huge and we could hear people in the hallway pretty easy but it was ok with us.

This hotel was in walking distance of pretty much everything and walk we did! The room and bathroom was one of the smallest ones I've ever been in but a huge TV, Keurig, free wifi and very hot water. The only mirror in the room was on the sliding bathroom door so when my husband was in the bathroom, it... More

Very comfortable and chic hotel. The check-in was very easy and my room was very spacious and newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable and the location is perfect. Close enough to everything without being in the middle of the quarter. Would definitely stay again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
