We stayed there for 4 nights on our honeymoon. The place is a cool old building. Nothing fancy, but nicely appointed vintage rooms. Very high ceilings. Not huge, and our room had no windows, but suited our purposes (a place to sleep before exploring the city, and, well, hole up for a bit.) Staff were very friendly, especially the night... More

The Pelham is run down and dirty. The staff seemed put upon to have to help customers. One of our rooms leaked, the other had hair (big hair) in the showers. No coffee pot , no fridge, haggard furniture in the rooms.

It is amusing to hear people ragging about how nasty this hotel is. Let's break this down: 1. It is a hotel in a very old building in an old city. It is going to have problems and idiosyncrasies that you get in an old building. 2. It is cheap. You want lush accommodations? Try the Ritz. 3. It is... More

Some of the staff was very good. Night shift was unfriendly. The room is small. We did get a room with a window, but we had to move to get one. The ad said free parking, it is not. Restaurant next door is great, Red Slipper. It is really important to have good beds and pillows. Pillows were old. They... More

Zero. Besides location this is a blackhole. 320$ a night in December for a room with no windows, a phone that doesn't work, and a front desk staff that can't help me with anything. As a service industry employee I am sincerely disappointed. I guess that's the price you pay when there's a doctor convention in town. What a rip... More

The location is very good. It´s close to the best mall in New Orleans and Bourbon Street. Staff is friendly. The room has acoustic windows and silence ambient even if you get a room in front of the street. Breakfast is not so good and it´s not included. Internet connection is wireless, fast and free.

We checked in very late. No problems getting there with the airport shuttle. The room was cold(60 degrees F), but that made for good sleeping. The location is excellent being within walking distance of the attractions around the French Quarter and the trolley cars. In the morning, I called to report the cold problem that I was unable to fix... More

We stayed here for a night back in late January, got a room for $119 at midnight because we hadn't booked our hotel room for the night we arrived from New York. We were grateful to have found a room. The room we had was nice, with charming details such as an antique-ish bed, intricately framed gold mirror, old hardcover... More

Stayed at the Pelham Oct 6, 2013, for 4 nights. Hotel Concierge Brandon, and Thomas were welcoming, polite, well spoken, and full of information, and always ready to help, and answer any questions we had regarding which restaurant to eat at or if we needed directions. The Hotel Pelham was just a beautiful hotel, rooms were big enough, clean, and... More

Another recommendation from a friend, who came for a medical convention last year,The Pelham is not one of your big box hotels and is what you want when you stay in New orleans, high ceilings, large windows in one of our rooms,no windows in the other but when you are in New orleans and out to 4am who wants windows, very quiet but central...
