I read the reviews and boy were they wrong!! This hotel is horrible! The only decent thing was Darlene, the front desk clerk. She was very helpful with all the problems we had. The Pelham is a boutique hotel with lots of charm. It's a unique experience and makes you feel closer to the New Orleans culture. I picked this hotel up for 77.00 a night for the last weekend in March. It takes a bit of navigational luck to drive to this hotel by car as all of the nearby streets are one way. The Pelham was a great bargain. We paid a total of $386 for three nights which was significantly less expensive than the other hotels in the area. July 27-29, 2007 My hubby and I stayed at the Pelham for a weekend getaway. It was very nice, cozy and close to everything that we needed access to.
