Beautiful hotel. Service was exceptional from the check in until I got in a cab back to the airport. The carousel bar was very cool. Enjoyed the hotel so much I wish my wife would have come with me on the business trip but she couldn't make it. Booked through Expedia and was given two free drinks in the bar... more

My husband, son and I spent a long weekend at the Monteleone. The location is perfect and we walked everywhere except to the World War II museum. We could have walked there if the weather had been cooler. The lobby is stunningly beautiful. The staff on the reservation desk and the doormen were very helpful. For a large hotel, the... more

Grand hotel with probably the best position for the French Quarter. Rooms comfortable and clean with choose-your-own combination safes. Breakfast fairly expensive but very very good. Luxurious roof-top pool. Staff were extremely helpful when we had trouble (with airline) with on-line check-in for return flight. Would (and in fact will) definitely return. more

When we go away, the hotel is mainly for sleeping, showering, a meal or two, and a drink or two. The Monteleone has a beautiful lobby, charming carousel bar (it turns) and cafe and a restaurant. Our room was not large, but it was absolutely fine. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We really didn't stay too... more

We stayed at the hotel for three nights with two other couples and had a wonderful stay. We think the Monteleone is a great hotel in a terrific location and operated by staff that really know how to "run" a first class hotel - from the front doorman to the registration desk to the bar and dinning room waitstaff, everyone... more

After decided on Hotel Monteleone, we figured that for $200/night + $30 parking/day it would be a lovely place to stay. When we got to our room, we noticed it was small with a horrible view of another wall. The pool area was suppose to be relaxing and smoke free, but loud, obnoxious smokers were all around us. After returning... more

I stayed at this hotel with three of my closest girlfriends on Memorial Day weekend. I booked this hotel because of the reviews and I thought I would be very satisfied, but not so much. Check in was from 3-5pm. Of course, our room wasn't ready until 4:55pm. We had to hang out in the pool area for an hour... more

The Monteleone Hotel is filled with a rich history of celebrated authors such as Truman Capote staying here. I love how cloase it is to all locations in the French quarter without the noise that can come with staying on Bourban Street. Can't wait to get back agan. more

My wife and I really liked staying at this hotel; grand lobby, great bar and the hotel staff really appreciated our business! We kept saying how nice everyone was and how the staff went out of their way to please us. The location was great, in the heart of the French Quarter without the noise. Clean, safe, a good value... more

A group of us went to NOLA to celebrate my 40th Birthday. We all stayed at Monteleone. I have not stayed here in over a year, and after reading some of the recent reviews I was concerned that something had changed. In the past Monteleone has been perfect all around. The recent bad reviews make no sense. They must be... more
