What an amazing 5 days! The French Market Inn could not have been in a better location for us. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a Balcony room that was spacious, clean and had a view of the river and the Steamboat Natchez. We have been to New Orleans many times, but this was our first time... More

My wife and I do extended road trips and always try to find good local restaurants that focus on food and not necessarily on presentation. We then go 'high end' for a few days (boutique hotels and fancier restaurants). This falls in between the two. The hotel is very nice and clean but the rooms are quite small (at least... More

The hotel itself is what you would expect: you get what you pay for. It is modest but the room was spacious and location is really convenient for all attractions in New Orleans. We had issues with housekeeping (didn't come one of the 4 days we stayed there) and the other staff didn't see to be bothered nor offered an... More

Located within the French Quarter. Just a block from practically everything: the riverfront, Cafe DuMonde, Royal and Bourbon Street. Check in was a breeze. Jenna at the front desk was full of southern hospitality. There is a large lobby, courtyard and tiny pool. Our room was very clean with tall ceilings and huge/heavy window coverings. The room was quite dark;... More

What an amazing long weekend! The French Market Inn could not have been in a better location for us. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and had a view of the river and the Steamboat Natchez. This was our second trip to NOLA, but our first time at The French Market Inn. I do... More

We stayed here over a long weekend to attend a wedding. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, and lots if ambience as the hotel is in an old building. The location is great, in the French Quarter but not noisy at all. The people at the front desk were very helpful in recommending a tour for the garden district.... More

We spent 4 nights in a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. Front desk staff were so helpful - when we requested a room change away from the elevator, they bent over backwards to get us a nice quiet room. The bellhop provided us with tips and recommendations on interesting places and events. Best of all, the hotel is close to... More

We checked in to the hotel at midnight - and wanted to go have a cocktail - the staff (very friendly and courteous) directed us to Bourbon Street (as "Bourbon Street never shuts down") We had a great room with a balcony...which was helpful because in New Orleans people can still smoke in bars, so our clothes aired out on... The room was nice, clean, had a wonderful historic feel. Check in was pleasant and easy. I did request a room with a balcony that wasn't available at check in. Rates were a little on the higher side with no amenities offered. The secure parking was nice. The only downside I had to the stay was the noise from the... More
