Charming villa-style inn nestled in the French Quarter just a few short blocks from Cafe de Mundo! Wonderful hidden courtyard complete with a pool and community cat! Perfect place to sit and visit with friends. Rooms are newly remodeled with high end finishings - cozy, warm, and inviting.

Recently remodeled and well done. Very large Bathroom for Historic Hotel. Clean and well appointed. Very nice courtyard and small but useful pool. Friendly Staff from Desk to porters. Only downside is no restaurant on site, however many only 1/2 to 1 block away.

The hotel is reasonably priced for the area and has a nice ambience about the place. The location is very good. Where the hotel falls short is customer service and a general lack of attention to detail. Upon returning to our room on our last evening in the city the key to our room would not unlock the door (around... More

We booked this hotel well in advance of our trip. Unfortunately, a snowstorm intervened and we had to delay our visit. Our airline was fantastic and did their best to find us alternative suitable flights. I wish the hotel had been so helpful. They had already debited a large deposit from my account so we were obliged to stay with... More

Old, old building with lots of history. Modernized with conveniences; but, still retains its charm. Friendly and attentive front staff, both days and nights. Many rooms look down on interior courtyard; however, we opted for street-facing deluxe room overlooking Rue Decatur extending towards the river. Room was NOT noisy; and, adequate in size, even with a king-sized bed. It is... More

Our stay was only for 3 nights over the weekend and despite its close proximity to the main Bourbon Street buzz, we had a noise/trouble free stay. The hotel has an almost boutique feel to it, its really cute. In the middle there is a lovely courtyard with a small pool and some tables and chairs set out. The reception... More

This hotel is in the French Quarter and has an interior courtyard that is comfortable and quiet. The room was pleasant and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We arrived via Amtrak with bicycles. The hotel is bicycle friendly and convenient to local bike routes.

Pros: The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent. Liked the boutique flavor of the hotel and courtyard. Cons: Room did not have enough lighting. Not especially clean. On the surface it looked clean but upon staying there found cigarette butt in the shower. Second night there was a bug in my bed. Don't know what it... More

We had a great stay! Everyone was helpful and nice. We had an outside room overlooking the courtyard. Since our room was toward the courtyard it was relatively quiet. It wasn't a balcony room but there was a small balcony overlooking the courtyard and the door out to it was right next to our room. It is so convenient to... More

One of our more expensive hotel splurge, but glad we did. Location is excellent, walking distance to French Quarter, Bourbon St. French Market, St. Louis Cathedral, and Jackson Square. Old building, excellent renovations. Rooms updated, reasonable size. Very clean hotel, beds were comfortable. Parking is expensive downtown, if you're driving the hotel offers valet parking for $31.00 per day. Other... More
