This hotel is not only very affordable, but it is very charming and in a great location. As a woman traveling alone, I was a little nervous about going out by myself, but the neighborhood is very safe and the location is close to many tourist attractions while being a good distance away from the whole Bourbon Street scene, which... The location is great with easy access to everywhere you want to go. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but comfortable. It appears to have been recently remodeled. We stayed in room 310, which faces the courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the room was relatively quiet (expect for the couple that wanted... More

Just the best location in the French Quarter. We walked everywhere. We stayed four nights and really did so much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the old-worldliness of the hotel. One should expect the room to be small, but otherwise, clean and charming.

This was one of my go-to places to stay in the French Quarter, but this stay was not up to par for them. The problem was the staff. I booked a deluxe King, but when I got there, I was put in a dank closet with a view of the air-conditioning unit, and a leaky toilet. When I returned to... More

We stayed here for the last 4 nights of our USA trip. We chose this place because of the good reviews, good price and location in the middle of the french quarter so we could get rid of our rental car instead of paying $27 per day just for parking. We had one of those little rooms with no window,... More

We stayed at the French Market in for 2 nights. It is very conveniently located for any New Orleans activities. The hotel is very charming, and far enough away from Bourbon Street that even at the weekend, it is not noisy. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would definitely considering going back.

The location was great - no doubt about it. The building is historic, architecturally and interesting. However, be aware that they have rooms without windows that are also tiiiinnny! I mean barely enough room to walk around the bed... and the bathroom is equally ity bity. We asked if we could pay more for another room but they were booked.... More

The hotel was just as listed. The rate was great for the area. The hotel is within walking distance from almost everything. My wife and I went down for a long weekend (2 nights) and got in interior room because that was all that was left. The AC worked great! The King room was small but met our needs just... More

This beautiful and historical hotel featured high beds ,enormous tiled bathroom, views of the courtyards and a ton of atmosphere! Smack dab in the French Quarter we walked to everywhere, including Bourbon Street. We also had easy access to the streetcars, all of which you can ride all day for only $3.00! The BEST part however, was the employees . No matter if it... More

We stayed here for three nights and had a pleasant stay. The hotel itself was a lovely historic building and encompassed the feel of the French quarter. The room we stayed in was on the outside of the building rather than the inside which have no windows. Our room was plenty spacious and very clean on arrival. The bed was... More
