Easy bus ride 39 in to the end of Tulane Ave, and with a day pass ($3.00) just get on any tram or bus and get around very easily to the center The Mardi Gras prices were higher than normal, but I think every hotel raises prices for the occasion. The Hotel was very acceptable with coffee machine in room,... More

Rochelle at the front desk was the only real redeeming quality of this hotel. She was helpful and very friendly! An electric floor heater was the only source of heat in the room and the king sized bed literally rolled you to the center of the bed. The ice machine didn't work, no phones in the room, and it took... More

Upon our arrival at Midtown we we greeted, kind of, by a manager? Not sure, because the woman barely looked up and let us know someone would be with us. We checked in with a less than enthusiastic staff member and she directed us to our room. We noticed that the lobby was quiet and there was not a lot... More

Some guy told me that the 4th floor wasn't that bad compared to other floors. WOW ! The other ones are worst ? Could it be ? ice machine didn't work. Laundry did'nt work. Cola machine on my floor didn't work. We had to ask for a hair dryer. There's an iron, but no table. Cleaning lady does 80% of... More

Stayed for two nights for pre mardi gras weekend. We booked this hotel online ahead of time with a non refundable purchase w/ a couple requests. Other hotels were booked and prices were really expensive so why not stay at this hotel? I also stayed at the Astor Crowne and the Avenue Plaza during my trip as well. So here... More

Had a great time. Met Mike who works at the Midtown. He drove us all over New Orleans. Better than a tour guide. Only paid $50.00 a night. Rooms were clean, and the tV worked. We weren't in the room that much. It was only a $10.00 taxi ride to french quarter.

If this was in Bolivia, Belize, or Nicaragua, it would still be a terrible hotel. I had money stolen from the hotel safe and the same lady was stealing credit card information as well. Nothing was done and the people working there really did nothing to help. The cleaning staff would come to your room at 9am to clean which... More

The Midtown Hotel is nestled in an Urban area just a mile or so from the French Quarter. We paid about $41.00 a night, stayed 5 nights and our stay was wonderful. The staff, especially Tahiti, were all very friendly, the room was very clean, remodeled, it was quiet every night we were there. We didn't spend a lot of... More
