You get great value with the Prytania. I have stayed here more then once. People that complain about mosquitoes and smell obviously don't live in the south where you are below sea level, damp and moist all the time. Humidity is off the charts in NOLA. That is just part of New Orleans. It is clean, and staff is friendly... More

We booked this place first and foremost because it has free parking. That is REALLY hard to find in the French Quarter. This hotel is located in the garden district and has a couple of nice bars near it. It is also on the trolley car line, which makes it easy to get around the city. We parked our car... More

This is the only hotel in New Orleans that I know of with free parking, free breakfast, and free WiFi. the staff there is fabulous. I was allowed to park my car early at their lot so I didn't have to pay for parking and go sightseeing before we checked into the hotel. The Pryania park is only one block... More

We stayed at the Prytania Park one night. I selected this hotel and location for the parking-we were in a U-Haul. There was plenty of parking and it was secure. The hotel is just 1 block from the St. Charles Streetcar and it is about a 10-15 minute ride to all the action in the French Quarter. Everything quite accessible.... More

This was my first trip to New Orleans and over-all the hotel was a nice place to stay. The contenintal breakfast was gross and there were people sitting out right by my door to my room smoking at 8am and that is a early time for someone to be woken up when on vacation :( but the room itself was... Dear Guest, Firstly, Thank You for taking time out to write the review. We do appreciate it a great deal. I am glad to know you enjoyed the room, as that is what its all about. However, I am concerned about your statement regarding breakfast. I would ask that you contact me directly to elaborate as I am not sure... More

Recently stayed at the Prytania Park Hotel (park of a cluster run by same group). Great and friendly service. Welcoming, nice part of town near trolley line. Room was decent size but had a wet wool, cat piss smell. No closet, very small cupboard. Bathroom was fine but not conveniently laid out. The breakfast was dried cereal and packaged yogurt... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am sorry you experienced a displeasing odor in your room. It has me very concerned there is a serious problem that needs addressing. I am going to look into this immediately along with my maintenance staff. You are correct that we do not have the standard closet, but we are a European... More

Stayed 3 nights at Prytania Park knowing that this is a boutique establishment. The price was a little higher than what we would like to pay, BUT it was during the Jazz festival weekend, and the room came with parking, convenient location (a block from the streetcar station and many good restaurants), breakfast (not a whole lot, but enough to... More like a boutique establishment. We got one of the more inexpensive units. It was adequate and spacious enough, comfortable beds, okay view, nice shower area with good water pressure, plain interior and other expected amenities. Our unit was tucked within a maze like setting and the Continental Breakfast was served outside (far less room if you have to eat... More

The location is excellent, everything is close, especially with proximity to the streetcar. I'd stay here again or try the sister properties nearby. Comprised of older buildings that have been combined, was charming but not elegant.

Based on other reviews and the hotel pictures I thought I was booking us a nice room. NOT! I guess you must stay on the upper floors to get a good room like the pictures. I did request a courtyard room, however, had I known it was going to be infested with mosquitoes and down right tacky for 189 a... More

Dear Guest, I am really not sure how to address your review, as you booked a room from our website that clearly shows we are a “courtyard” hotel, which deals with outdoor issues. Mosquitos are abundant in the deep south when there is an overwhelming amount of moisture and rain. Last week when you were here, I am sure you... More
