It's a nice old fashioned place, only one block from St. Charles Street and the Trolley. Easy to get to the French Quarter but if you don't want to go over there, you can find restaurants right nearby and go on a good walking tour of the Garden District. Breakfast is served outside when the weather permits, which is nice... More

My title says it all. The room was fine - clean and comfy and quiet - hence the average rating in what for the rest I would clasify as poor and overpriced. The outside areas are dismal as if Hurricane Katrina had just struck last week. The breakfast area (outside in a dingy, tiny courtyard) and the too sweet offerings... More

Dear Guest, I feel bad that you did not like the style of the hotel considering you booked from the website that shows the courtyards and the narrow stairs leading up to where you room was. Yes, there is an old abandoned home adjacent to the hotel, which was recently sold to an Historic Home Preservationist, who has plans on... More

We loved this hotel! You feel like you step back in time when you approach the hotel. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The room was super cool - we had the upstairs/downstairs 3 bed room. It had a main floor with a full-size bed and a loft that had two twin beds in which you accessed by climbing some... More

Loved the location and the easy access to the street car for a short ride into the French quarter. Not much to look at froM the outside but the interior of the room was nice and a welcome departure to the standard big chain. Saw , a few of the regular sized rooms while the maids were working them. They... More

Stayed for a week at the end of Feb. in one of the "modern queen" rooms. As others have said, these are more like motel rooms, but perfectly adequate and the bed was quite comfortable. These rooms have a dresser and an armoire instead of a closet, but there was definitely enough room for the suitcases. Our room did have... More

We spent 4 nights here. The room was large and comfortable. There were some good restaurants close by and the street car was one street over. The good thing was the free parking for our rental car. It is an easy walk to the Super Dome area and to the French Quarter. I would stay here again.

We have just spent a week at the Prytania Park, our third visit, including a stay at their Queen Anne building around the corner. It has some disadvantages - the beds are rather small and not the most comfortable, breakfast is served outside which does not suit some people, housekeeping can be a little erratic at times and there is... We recently visited this hotel during our break in New Orleans. The hotel itself is located in an off shoot road from St Charles in the lovely garden District. It is close to bars, restaurants and the 'trolley' - which takes you to Canal street (near the French Quarter). In terms of the hotel, the room was neat and tidy... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking a moment on writing your review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed our City and our neighborhood. You come a long ways from home, and found your way to a charming area of New Orleans. I am however, mortified, that our staff, outside of the blond hair lady, namely Christine, did not... More

I'm so glad I found this hotel. My son and I stayed here before and after our cruise last month. Both times, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy. With the hotel only being a block from a St Charles streetcar stop, free WiFi, and offering complimentary continental breakfast, this is now my go to hotel... More

Located one short block from St. Charles St trolley. $3 day pass gets you all day access to French Quarter, Garden District, Audubon Park/Zoo, trolley stop one block from WWII museum. My wife and I go to NOLA regularly but this was first time at Prytania Park. We will definately stay there on any future trips. There were 5 of... More
