Hard to believe a good friend of New Orleans suggested your hotel. Boy were they RIGHT! Stayed at Cornstalk Hotel off Royal and it plain disgusted me....read my review. This hotel was a sweet attic loft pn third floor. Air was perfect. Stairwell up was hot. Room excellent firm bed. Try it. You'll like it. Ask for room 301!! Karen... More

We stayed 4 nights in a queen loft. It was perfect. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Room did have a little bit of a musty smell, but that is to be expected considering you are staying in an older hotel and it's so humid in New Orleans. We... More

My girlfriends and I visited NOLA on an impromptu roadtrip and being a travel agent, I wanted to give them a true authentic New Orleans experience so I chose the Prytania Park Hotel for it's quaintness and unique look. I booked the contemporary queen room (rm 230) and we could not have been more pleased. Everything was perfect for us.... More

We had a great stay at the Prytania Park Hotel. It's a 30 min walk to the city center or you can go by streetcar which leaves around the corner. There's no supermarket but a drug store within walking distance. What we didn't like was the disposable tableware.

The outside is deceiving. We got the room with the loft which I liked. Not a five star hotel but it was sufficient. Staff was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was basic. Not so that close to downtown or where everything is, we walked which was killer especially in the heat (we didn't wanna pay to park downtown everyday). Lafayette cemetery... More

We were going to New Orleans to watch an athletic event at the Morial Convention Center and wanted something within walking distance. The Prytania Park filled the bill and then some. Very reasonably priced - we stayed in the "historic" accommodations, inside an older home and the queen-sized room was very nice and a terrific value. We also spent some... More

This little hotel is snuggled away in a nice area in the Garden District. Our room was clean and bed was comfy. Our room was very quiet, no noise to ne heard. The staff was also nice and friendly. Had a good quick continental breakfast on our way out. If & when we come back to New Orleans, we will... More

The ratings for this place were pretty good so I decided to give it a try. I was there over 4th of July weekend for Essence Fest. I have to say that it's not really a bad place, however it's not for me and I won't be staying there again. I was in New Orleans from July 1st-July 6th. I... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your honest words. We are very different from the other hotel you mention. We are a 2.5 star hotel, for the budget minded person who is wanting a great value for their buck. We are also geared more to the person who is wanting something different than the standard hotel room that looks like every... More

My husband and I stayed here in early June and we don't have a bad word to say about the hotel or the staff! We were originally going to stay in the French quarter, but I'm so glad we decided on the garden district instead. A lovely little area, nice bars and restaurants close by (slice and the blind pelican... More

I would absolutely stay here again. Great rates and a very clean hotel with a friendly staff. They even provide breakfast each morning. Great NOLA feel. A block of St Charles and close to everything including the convention center and Bourbon street.
