This hotel simply could not be in s more idyllic location for the price. It's excellent value and and excellent choice. For its position next to a central metro and it's charming rooms and lovely staff... I would definitely stay again, the breakfast - food and service could be improved but that is the only thing. It's wonderful. Be wise....... More

Nice little historic hotel in the french quarter. the staff was so friendly, and the place was adorable, the room spotless, with old furniture. quiet and peaceful. We loved this hotel! We spent only one night but I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A hotel very handy to most of your needs in New Orleans. Two blocks from Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the Mississippi River and Frenchman Street. All very safe surroundings to come day and night. This is an old historic boutique hotel, so don't expect the trimmings of a 6 star Ritz Carlton, in saying that it is clean and comfortable... More

Very accommodating, the staff was very friendly and personable. Twanda, the night time security guard was our favorite. She showed us around the property and told us the history of some of it as well as some personal stories from her experiences with Katrina. Would love to stay here again!

We loved the Hotel Provincial. Our room was very well appointed and had an exceptional view of the river and the french market. During the afternoon you could hear the muscians playing at Cafe du Monde. We valeted the truck and literally walked everywhere we wanted. The staff was exceptional and very very accomodating. I would highly recommend to anyone... More

I have been to New Orleans many times, mostly for business. On those trips, I stayed at hotels located in modern buildings that were near, but not in, the French Quarter. Hotel Provincial was perfect. It has a great location, there is a sense of history, and the staff is very helpful. An added benefit was that Irene's restaurant is... More

Loved the location of the Hotel! Staff were great. Nice and quiet at night. Room was a decent size comfy beds, the pool needed a few more lounge chairs. Would have liked a continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Provincial was affordable: not cheap but not expensive, either. It's worth paying a little extra in the French Quarter because the hotels are so old and outdated, and some not so well-maintained. Hotel Provincial was clean, staff was friendly, and they even accommodated us when we had to check out early. My only gripe was that the walls are... More

We were happy with our stay at the Hotel Provincial. It was a short walk to Jackson square, the French market and Bourbon street. Our double room was spacious and well kept. We had the chance to swim in both pools and both were very nice. We would definitely stay at the Provincial again.

My family stayed at Hotel Provincial for three nights, breakfast was worth the stay. Room was decorated with antique furnishing, there was large roaches walking around at night time. The pool was closed, not a big deal. Staff helpful and accommodating. Located close to the market place and all the action spots. Great restaurants, food and drinks worth the trip... More
