Every room is unique and beautifully decorated in this historic hotel. The entry welcomed us into a wonderful courtyard. The desk manager was incredibly hospitable and helpful. If you take any of the historic tours you'll find some Laura plantation connection here. Great place to stay and very near most sites but far enough away from the noise so it's... More

If you want a hotel that looks like every other hotel (crisp white walls with pictures of light houses from Fine Art America, plywood nightstand from Ikea, etc.), this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for something that embodies the epitome of NOLA, you will want to stay at this hotel! Yes, it is historic. If... More

By far the best hotel we stayed at while in the states. It was historic and had lots of charm. Our room was large with 3 beds and two tvs. Super close to Bourbon Street and walking distance to all of the French Quarter. Great value for money. Staff were friendly and helped us with bookings and directions.

A great place to stay if you want old New Orleans charm and feel. Balconies, courtyard, period furnishings, it's all here. Steps from Bourbon Street action or steps to quiet neighborhood bars and shops. But, what made the stay most memorable was the staff! They were always willing to talk with us and help you find the places and food... More

Great location in the heart of the French Quarter. The Olivier House is just steps away from fantastic food and music. This is a great historic hotel with a wide variety of rooms and Suites. We really enjoyed the great staff recommendations for tours as well as local favorites. We will definitely return to Nola and stay at the Olivier... More

This hotel is a former french quarter mansion restored, and now used as a hotel. It is family owned and really offers a lot of personal service the employees were all very friendly and extremely helpful. They gave me great tips and advice about the city, restaurants, night life, pretty much if you need to know something they will help... More

I have stayed several times at Olivier House. Just returned from a visit where I took four of my sons and a buddy who had never been to the French Quarter before (as a college graduation reward.) The rooms were great. Bobby and crew are always friendly and helpful. The reconditioning of the old mansion rooms is nicely done. And... More

You won't find this gem on hotels.com or any other search engine. If you've stayed there before most likely you will call for availability. Each room uniquely decorated with antiques and layouts complete with refrigerators in each room and big fluffy towels. Cool wrought iron balconies (on some), cozy courtyards, sitting areas, and all general guest parlor with great coffee... More
