I have stayed at this Marriott several times for buisness. This was my first stay for Leisure, and it will be my last. I had 3 rooms booked ahead of time all in my name (Gold Member). We got to the hotel early and 1 of the rooms was ready.. that was great! I gave them my phone number because... More

This hotel is very, very large, and you could get lost in it if you do not know where you are going. That said, they clearly have handled large functions before, and exhibited that as they were hosting a football team, staff, and a large amount of fans for the 2008 New Orleans Bowl. I enjoyed the view of Harrah's... More

We just spent 2 nights at the New Orleans Marriott, and had a good time. Really didn't have any major complaints, except maybe the bathrooms were a bit small with low ceilings. We had a corner room, so the view was excellent on the 32nd floor with windows on 2 sides of the room. Great location too, since we walked... More

Had a blast. I always stay at the Marriott. Elevator system was . . . interesting. The rooms were somewhat small, but very tasteful and tidy. Great view of the water, but the rain and the clouds left much to be desires. I forgot how much fuin Bourbon Street could be.

Overall this is a nice clean hotel, we loved how close you are to Bourbon street, river walk, casino's etc. You wont find a better location. Room was clean but very small but the view from 40th floor made it all worth it! You will want to take the beds home with you, best I have ever slept on. Pool... More

We stayed at the Marriott for 6 days while I attended a meeting. We had already spent 11 days in various hotels before arriving here. This was by far the most expensive room we had and also the smallest. This hotel uses the excuse that they are a full service convention hotel as their reasoning for all of the extra... More

I stayed at this hotel for a large convention (900+ women). It was OK. I probably wouldn't stay here again just due to the size of the hotel (huge!!!) and a few other things, but it was overall a decent place to stay. PROS: Nice lobby bar with decent wine list, sushi, decent food, free wifi. Hospitality room for concierge... More

Just returned from attending a business conference; this is a return trip for me to this particular Marriott property. Love the location - close to Bourbon Street, in a security-conscious area of downtown. Staff is always so gracious. Bellman gave an excellent recommendation on a restaurant. Also, love the 'express' elevators. Although we were on the 30th floor (great views!),... More

I was in town with my partner, mixing business with pleasure. When checking in, I asked if there were any upgrades available (always to that, all they can say is no :) ). I was offered a room with a "Murphy Bed" - which I was not familiar with. It is a bed that pulls down from the wall. I... More

We were so looking forward to taking part in the National ACBL (Bridge) Championships in New Orleans. Sadly we had to quit after four days as we were slowly being poisoned. The extractor vent for the main restaurant wood grill is adjacent to the intake of the hotel air conditioning plant, which resulted in the grill fumes permeating all the... More
