Got to this business after an overnight flight from my home zone. Sleep deprived, I asked for help from the check in staff. They were able to get me into a room 3 hours early. Perhaps I should have waited as the room revealed many issues over the 8 night stay. First one - some white stuff was on the... More

It is in an ideal location close to the French Quarter and Biz Districts, walk to excellent restaurants (Emeril's, August, Mother's, Brennans, etc) and close to both street car lines. The room was in the River Tower and had a nice river view, it was nicely updated and the beds are comfortable with pillow top mattress and good linens/pillows. I... More

Stayed at the hotel during the second weekend of Jazzfest. Overall a good experience. The location is great. On the edge of the French quarter and a couple of blocks from the casino and river. Lobby was nice and updated. The rooms were a little dated. For some reason the bathrooms didn't have an exhaust fan. Easily the best value... More

No complaints about the hotel ... room spacious and clean, staff helpful, facilities good. In-room meal service a little pricey, but amazingly fast. The Starbucks in the foyer could have had longer opening hours, given that the hotel is busy almost 24/7 it seems! However, the experience reminded me why I don't usually choose hotels with a/c and no opening... More

The New Orleans Marriott on Canal St. is in a great location to explore the city, starting with the French Quarter that is just outside its doors. Also handy to the St. Charles streetcar to gawk at the fancy houses in the Garden District. And, across the street from the #11 Magazine bus stop, which takes you through some great... More

We were there for a six day large conference. At a very attractive group rate we had been assigned a large two-room suite on 33rd floor. We enjoyed the phantastic view over the Mississippi with splendid sunrises. The suite was well equipped and excellent for small business meetings. Staff was friendly and helpful, though the cleaning staff had trouble understanding... More

Beds were so comfortable, draw out curtain perfect... We stayed on the 40th floor concierge was great evening and morning breakfast was nice... The only negative was the elevator... There was a conference while we stayed and it was ridiculous trying to get up and down. I can't imagine staying here on another busy weekend. The wait was at times... More

I stayed here with a group of friends for our trip to New Orleans. I loved that this hotel was a walkable distance to everywhere we wanted to go without being super loud.

Went to New Orleans as a last minute spring break trip and omg what a mistake! The room was tiny for what we paid and the valet parking was a nightmare! It took us over an hour to check out ! When I called down for someone to help us with our bags, the bellhop arrived quickly only to get... More

I was stuck in the elevator between the 10th floor and waited 20 minutes for help to come and manually open the doors. I was told the power went out. The hotel was not willing to compensate me for the trouble. They wanted to give me a 50.00 credit on a 250. per night stay. WOWW...
