Stayed 1 night and left for another hotel. Bed had some type of pillow top that did not fit, ended in a lumpy mess. Blanket was a puff type of thing that weighed about 15 pounds, not too good for sleeping. Pillows were a couple of blob type things that had no filling. Elevator binged all night down the hall.... Got the Marriott on Canal on Kayak for a really great price. I was worried that being on the edge of the quarter would be inconvenient, but it was truly a perfect location. For being such a large hotel the service was outstanding. I mentioned that it was my birthday while checking in and was upgraded to a corner river... More

Comfortable large, full-service hotel in a "perfect" location to enjoy both the French Quarter and the central business district. Our king-size bed room had a spectacular view of the city.

Adequate, good location. Good use a little sprucing up. Mattresses were substandard, needed to be replaced. Lopsided terribly to one side, don't see how housekeeping was able to make it up. Still, all in all, a pleasant experience

In NOLA for the Final Four and one person in our group was a Marriott Rewards member and got us a room on Monday night last minute! Everything was very well orchestrated in this hotel and although very busy it was not at alll chaotic. Really liked our room with wonderful sheets and duvet covers. Very clean and plenty of... More

We totally enjoyed our stay. The lobby bar is one of the best people watching places in the USA. The rooms are spacious and the service is very good. Just seems to need some new carpeting in the hallways and an improved elevator system. Both restaurants were very good and the food and prices in the lobby bar were great.... More

This is my second review on this hotel. I came last year by myself for a conference and returned this year with my family. This is a standard run-of-the-mill conference hotel. The rooms are fine, but nothing extraordinary. I choose to stay here with my family because the location is great and the reviews are so spotty on all of... More

I received excellent service at this hotel and received a nice room with a view of the lights of downtown at night. The room was nice, but nothing exceptional. There was mold in the grout in the shower and the mattress was due for a change. Pillow-top mattresses are great when they are new, but they need to be tossed... More

My wife & I decided to spend a night before & after our 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean and we left the choice up to the Cruise consultant. The choice was a bit on the expensive side for us but it was definitely worth it for the location & the free shuttle to the Port the next day.... More
