A stay at Lamothe House takes you back to another century. Room furnishings are antique, yet up to contemporary standards. The private courtyard is filled with sub-tropical foliage with a good-sized pool at the center. Perhaps best is the location, a short walk to the clubs on Frenchman Street and the French Market, and minutes from the French Quarter. Yet,... More

We stayed in the King Suite for 3 nights. The room was very spacious and was quiet. The room was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We were close to everything in the Quarter and just a couple blocks from the trolly station. Would definately recommend staying here!

Three women; we reserved #205 with 1 king bedroom, a 2 queen bedroom & a small sitting room. Very clean, comfortable & spacious on the 2nd floor. An easy walk to attractions and activities on a quiet tree lined boulevard. Thanks to De'Aun and Jonathan who gave us wonderful suggestions for fantastic, non-tourist restaurants. The courtyard pool & spa were... More

My wife and I stayed at the Lamothe House a few weekends ago for St Patrick’s Day. Location can’t be beat, room was clean and ready when we arrived at 3:30 and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel! The staff was so nice and helpful. They even had a parking lot right behind the... More

We traveled to NOLA in early March, staying in the Lamothe House for 4 nights. The location is absolutely perfect. The accommodations are small, but clean. The shower drain did clog, but was fixed hours after we called. It started to fill up again right before we left. The one complaint we had was the noisiness of our room. We... More

We arrived early about 11:30 am and Johnathan at the front desk helped us unload and safely stash all our gear so we could wander the neighborhood for lunch until our room was ready. Upon our return (Frank's mufalettas and Cafe du Monde bineits (sp?) he got us registered and helped us with our gear again. We were so taken... More

First let me say that as far as NO is concerned you will not do much better than this location. You can easily walk to everything, and the hotel itself is nice. It feels historic and the staircase that everyone else complains about is actually really charming. What was awful was... 1. The size of the room. Ridiculous even if... More

I never write reviews as I always think it's a waste of time but I couldn't resist that's how upset I was. I stayed with my boss at this hotel, not sure what to expect because when traveling we also go for the chain hotels Ritz Carlton, Intercontinental etc...we were pleasantly surprised this hotel was beautiful and very clean. My... More

The hotel has a lovely French style, I recommend staying in the rooms of the main house, but the rooms outside are very noisy, leave nothing for intimacy. The night we were there was a fight at the next room, we call at the reception, but nobody came. It is an old hotel with no elevator, no help up and... More
