This is an older hotel with style and grace. Because it is older it has a few bumps with modern technology...slow internet...almost non existent in our room by the elevator, (however our friend were further down the hall and the bet was fine)and slow elevators...however it is decorated with style and flair befitting an old Southern charmer. Our bed was... More

Hotel is in a great location and you can walk just about anywhere or hop the trolley to Garden District. Not a bad cab ride to & from airport even though there was tons of traffic! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous & is decorated to the period with incredible antiques scattered throughout (my personal fave was the armoire just passed... More

Hotel is over 100 years. So the rooms are small - the king bed is super! Close to WWII Museum, great restaurants and French Quarter. Breakfast buffet $$, room service $$$. If you drive, parking is $40/night. Check "groupons" for deals.

This 100+ year hotel is lovely. And although the main reception area is not large, it is beautiful and lavish and evokes nobility and a sense of what New Orleans must have been like one hundred years ago. The staff is well trained and helpful in a polite but southern-friendly way. Just a few short blocks to walk to the... More

Gorgeous hotel meant to impress you, and it does! Tight lobby loaded with marble and chandeliers where they set up peanut butter, bread, jams, milk, and hot chocolate every night at ten PM for the kids in all of us. Restaurant that made us all look at every wall, and floor, and ceiling, and chair! Multitiered pool on the roof... More

This hotel is really charming, just on the other side of Canal St from the french quarter it is close enough to walk to French St or the Quarter for dinner, shopping or any other tourist activities. But far enough away to avoid the street noise when you want to sleep. The late evening PB&J with hot cocoa was really... More

The hotel itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is good, only a short walk to get to the heart of the action in the French quarter but far enough away that it was quiet at night! Rooftop pool was added bonus.

So glad I trusted me first instinct and came here. Friendly staff, large comfortable rooms and close to everything. Loved the rooftop deck and pool. Just far enough from French quarter to keep away crazy drunks. Lived every minute

This hotel is exquisite. Set just off Bourbon street, it has a very beautiful, old-world feel to it. The rooms are spacious and very well-kept. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I had never been to NOLA before and the concierges were very informative and patient. would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great at hotel. Staff best I have ever encountered. French quarter is quite a few blocks away, so if you are use to walk far in heat, take cab. Peanut butter and jelly sandwichs were fun, sometimes I ate them for breakfast. The staff finds you the best deals on tours.
