Reservation staff did not respond to a pre-arrival e-mail so I had to change rooms upon arrival. Beautiful exterior facade. Nice staff for valet, baggage handling, and check-in. After that all down hill. Sixth floor and my room in particular in need of refurbishment. Need a new maid as well. Excessive dust on the furniture and on top of the glasses... more

Le Pavillion is a lovely old hotel. The overall decor and room furnishings are ornate and heavy (in other words, this hotel does not have a modern feel, but that's not a criticism). We stayed in a suite which was roomy, but nothing unexpected. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The nightly cookies and PB&J snacks are charming. My... more

For my husbands 40th birthday I spent months putting together the "perfect" party. I wanted him to remember it for the rest of his life! Im sure that I accomplished THAT, even though it was a Nightmare! It started the day of the party. The caterer (At a local restaurant) called to tell us that a fire had damaged all... more

Doug Poulos the Reservations Manager at this hotel was the #1 reason I chose Le Pavillon. I had sent out requests to several properties, and Doug's responses were the most prompt and informative. I also wanted to stay somewhere away from the Bourbon Street noise (I am so glad I did). The location was ideal, I walked everywhere from the... more

Le Pavillon is an historic, New Orleans hotel, with grandly-decorated public rooms, and a dining room with high ceiliings and old-fashioned ambience. The guest rooms can be small - even if classified as "deluxe." The bathrooms are well-decorated and equipped. The 10 PM buffet in the lobby with complementary peanut butter/jelly sandwiches, fruit, milk, and hot chocolate is a friendly,... more

I love this hotel, it reminds me of Blanch Deveraux from The Golden Girls. My husband thought that it was tacky, but it was beautiful. It is over 100 years old and has still got it. There were 3 weddings there during our stay, but we hardly noticed, as there is so much to do in this great little city.... more

The Le Pavillion hotel is situated right outside the French Quarters area (so much quieter), the Le Pavillion is an older hotel built in 1910. It is a gorgeous hotel with architectural features galore. Crystal chandeliers hang all over the lobby area. Floors are marble and granite. When we arrive, the doorman, Cedric greated us and immediately made us feel... more

I stayed at Le Pavillon for my 3rd time from May 18th thru May 23rd. (I always book a Deluxe room and am not familiar with the standard rooms which seem to have a few negative reviews) From my perspective the Hotel represents great value, the staff are friendly and the rooms are great......I have now spent a total of... more

Overall the hotel was great. Very ellegant, was at a great location- in the business district which was close to the Canal St./French Quarter and the Garden Disctrict but with a good distance away. The concierge was extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it came to restaurant and activity suggestions. They were very accomodating- our flight came in early and... more
