A lot of nice hotels in New Orleans seem to still be at get-tourists-here prices, but our stay at Le Pavillon seemed like a steal for the Hotwire price of $74 a night. Except for one edgy desk person (we won't hold that against the hotel), the staff exudes service. The hotel's location wasn't as close to the French Quarter... more

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Rooms are lovely. They do differ in size. We had a larger room with a walk in closet and a nice bathroom with tub. The property itself is 101 years old and very well maintained. What makes this place memorable is the staff. Each and every person we... more

My stay at Le Pavillon could not have been any better. When you enter the hotel lobby, it is immediately evident a great deal of love and care has gone into maintaining this beautiful and historic hotel. I can imagine this hotel probably looks as good or better now than it did when it opened over 100 years ago. This... more

My husband and I stayed at Le Pavillon for one week in June, while he attended a conference in NOLA. Consistent with other reviewer comments, the first room assigned, was small for the large size furniture it was expected to accommodate and it also needed some TLC. When we mentioned our concerns to front desk staff, they addressed each quickly.... more

This hotel was built in 1907 and it is located a few blocks away from Canal Street, which separates the old French Quarter area from the other parts of town. You are not in the noisy or rowdy parts of town here, and your accomodations are not strictly as "modern" as they might be at some of the newer properties,... more

We called the hotel directly and our four-night stay cost us just $450 including all taxes -- and we were upgraded to a deluxe king room. The room was smallish and narrow, and the bathroom could have used a lot more shelf space. Still, everything was clean and dirt-free (except for a few areas which required the moving of furniture),... more

If you like historic hotels, this is place to be. The grandeur of the place wows most people. We even considered this place for our wedding! My only complaint about the rooms is that some may need to be updated. Not only is the place gorgeous, but service is impeccable. The staff is friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Out of 4 stays,... more

This was the second time I stayed at Le Pavillon, this time I was joined by my husband and infant daughter. The hotel's staff goes well beyond expectations to provide a luxurious stay. During breakfast in the Crystal Room, the waitstaff would recall our drink preferences and bring us everything right away. The entire staff was helpful with my baby,... more

It's been quite some time since I've stayed here but it's definitely left a lasting impression. For 3 years in a row, I would travel down to New Orleans for Halloween and on this year I chose to stay at Le Pavillon. Previously I'd stayed at The Hotel Intercontinental and The Westin. Nice places but my experience at Le Pavillon... more

My stay at Le Pavillon was wonderful, it was a beautiful hotel and the staff was really great. The peanut butter and jelly and hot cocoa at 10:00 was a nice touch too. The hotel was within walking distance of many of the places I wanted to go and within walking distance of trolleys that could take me to the... more
