This nice hotel seems to like to lower their rates for a few days. Then prices would go back up. If you know well in advance when you are headed to New Orleans and monitor travel websites, you may be able to catch some spectacular discounts. Personally I was paying less than many 2nd tier chains of hotels charged in... More

From the moment of our arrival the friendly staff at Le Pavillon made us feel welcome. Champagne and cake was a freebie waiting in our room to celebrate my wife's birthday, which was a lovely thought. Nick and Aaron were friendly and Goose made a real effort to help out with special requests. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel... More

This well located hotel about 10minutes walk from the French Quarter is indeed quite pleasant offering the luxury of yesteryear. Staff is helpful and accommodating though they are overly rigid about finding rooms for those who come early before 3PM. Bathrooms are rather old fashioned but nonetheless fine. At best a 4star hotel, certainly not one a 5star hotel or... More

Stayed in a nice quiet room on the 7th floor down the hall from the elevator. Up this high I could barely hear the whistles calling cabs at the hotel across the street. Not too haunted. ;) Ghosts rattling the light fixture in the ceiling fan left after I tightened the set screws. Bit of a walk to the quarter.

I typically like to try a new hotel every time I travel, but we will be back to Le Pavillon Hotel the next time we visit New Orleans for sure! I've never experienced service like this! The doorman greets you with southern hospitality & is happy to help with anything you need! Wayne helped us by bringing our bags to... More

Arrived here on 14/03/15 for 5 nights and we just loved this place. It is situated perfectly away from the noise of Bourbon/Canal Street but only 5mins walk away. I was extremely impressed with our room which was immaculate. Loved the rooftop pool/ Jacuzzi which was great way to relax after a days walking/tours. At 2200 was time for the... More

We are so happy we found this hotel. We travelled with a disabled person and the staff was very accommodating with the ramp and installing a bar in the washroom. We loved the room and especially the rooftop pool. It is a great area for adults and children over 14. Go to Dee's coffee across the street, besides Spitfire coffee... More

We stayed here last year and really enjoyed our experience. The room was small, which we expected after reading reviews here, but the appointments were lovely, and so much nicer than a cookie-cutter chain hotel. There were pictures throughout the hallways, some really nice and some a little odd, but all made for interesting conversation! We looked forward to the... More

Got this hotel off of Hotwire and had a fantastic stay. The hotel looks like an early 1900s hotel but didn't find it showed any wear. Very impressed by the attention to detail from all the furniture and chandeliers in the lobby to the large old fashion drapes in the room. Our bathroom was very modern and clean and stocked... More

This hotel is in an outstanding location: walking distance to the French Quarter, but away from all the noise. In addition, the doormen are always very friendly, entertaining, and very quick to help with the door, bags, getting a cab, or with tips about the city. The bellhop was friendly, the people at the desk were helpful, and perhaps most... More
