We booked this as part of a flight/hotel package and were very pleased! First of all, the hotel really competes for your business with friendly staff, a knowledgeable concierge, a yummy and affordable breakfast service, and a beautiful lobby with lots of fun activities to keep it lively (PB&J and hot chocolate at 10pm every night!). Very much in the... More

I really enjoyed staying in this wonderful hotel. I'm not usually a fan of heavy French type furnishings, but really loved it all. The room was clean and well cared for. The hotel is very well maintained. All of the employees of the hotel were friendly and helpful. They always volunteered for more than they were asked. My friend loved... More

First, this is my first rating on Trip Adviser - but I've used the site quite often to get a sense of what I'm getting myself into. I guess I have never felt the urge to give my two cents until now. We (my wife and I) just got back from a long weekend in the French Quarter for her... More

We stayed here for a wedding ceremony and reception that took place over the weekend. The hotel has a tremendous amount of character and is over 100 years old. The staff is exceptional, in particular Cedric the doorman! He is just first class catering to every customer's need. Rebecca in the catering office was very helpful and easy to work... More

From the moment we arrived to this historic hotel, we were welcomed and charmed. Photos in no way to justice to the beauty of the lobby. This is an old hotel, with a small-scale and tasteful beauty that is hard to describe, because it is a beauty that belongs to days past. It is all marble and mirrors, high ceilings,... More

We had no hiccups in our stay at Le Pavillon aside from not being able to properly say the name of our hotel when asked where we were staying. In the past, I have stayed at "historic" hotels and typically what I find is that there is no privacy from the bed to the door so it tends to be... More

This historic hotel offers very nice sized rooms that don't feel or look "historic". The service was terrific at all hours. Walk minimal to all hot spots. PBJ sandwiches in the late evening were devine!

Literally got back last night from New Orleans, so everything is fresh in my mind. The hotel is filled with all the charm of the city. The employees are extremely helpful, and the pb&j at night is awesome. Had to take a few taxis at night from the quarter, lots of homeless people at night, and after a long night... More

Beautiful historic hotel with good sized rooms. Spent the first weekend of the new year here for 2015. Short walk to the French Quarter (approximate 4-5 blocks). If you're looking for a nice place to stay while celebrating in the quarter yet like a little more "quiet" time while recuperating this might be your place. You don't have the noise... More

I've never stayed in such a posh hotel! I stayed here for the four nights immediately following Mardi Gras. I wanted to treat myself to some comfort and relaxation in order to recover from the madness of Mardi Gras and this place was the perfect place to do that. They were able to accommodate an early check in and I... More
