A great place for a long weekend stay! Only a short walk from the French Quarter, but just far enough that it's very quiet. They also have a great hotel bar with voodoo themed drinks. We stayed in their King Room, which was a pretty good size and was very clean.

The hotel is in a great location and very clean. We had great service at the bar and a fun visit with Adrianna. There is no coffee pot in the room and the tile in the bathroom needed work. We would stay again, but be prepared and bring our own coffee!

Great hotel. If possible, arrive in the evening when the lobby is filled with lit candles and music. Rooms were crisp and comfortable, large and roomy. Bar is cool and has inventive drinks. Very close walk to everything. Do yourself a favor and walk to August for dinner.

First time in New Orleans for the French Quarter Music festival. The hotel is very beautiful in both its southern charm and edgy elegance. Great lobby, wonderful bar (thank you Steve and Adrienne), very welcoming reception staff (Jennifer was particularly helpful with dining recommendations) and beautiful room. Clean, comfortable and appreciated the upgrade to a lovely king corner room. Good... More

I can't recommend this hotel enough. This was my first trip to New Orleans and I was going to be staying at a hotel by myself. I wanted a place where I felt centrally located and safe. The IH was fabulous. The location couldn't have been more perfect...just steps away from the French Quarter, but across Canal so away from... More

International House is an absolutely gorgeous jewel in the heart of New Orleans. It is in walking distance to Harrah's, Cafe du Monde, and many of the main attractions of the city. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The price for the hotel is exceptionally reasonable especially considering other hotel prices. The breakfast was rather simple (coffee, bananas,... We chose this hotel based on location and price, and we were extremely pleased with our choice. It is beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful comfortable beds. The room could have used a larger dresser to put your clothes, though. This hotel is within walking distance to everything you'd want to see and do as a visitor to the city of... More

I stayed for nearly a week for a business trip - and could not have been happier. Quiet room and comfy bed, lovely bathroom, clean. Room is small - but not as small as a boutique hotel room in NYC - this room is about twice that size. Great little intimate bar in the lobby, the hotel is central to... More

This was my first trip to New Orleans and when I was searching hotels I really didn't know what to look for. I originally booked at a chain hotel and them some friends wanted to join us, and the chain hotel was full so we found this Gem of a hotel! Thank goodness the other hotel was full! The International... More

I recently stayed at the International House Hotel for one night on business. It has a beautiful lobby that is quite welcoming with a luxurious, contemporary feel. My room was equally as nice with quality linens and bath products; comfortable bed and pillows (which I am very particular about!) There is a cozy bar in the lobby with an interesting... More
