4 of 5 stars NEW

I chose this hotel because of its location (very close to French Quarter) and reviews. Both reasons were accomplished. Room and common areas were very clean. Room was nicely decorated. It is a costy option, but you can't expect much less from a boutique hotel.

Location was excellent, within walking distance to the parade and the French quarter, while still having easy access to everywhere. the ambiance of the hotel is a true work of art. the front man is a true pleasure, which makes entering most enjoyable. the lobby is overly exquisite with the bar the lobby the extra high ceilings, just incredible. My husband and I went to NOLA for our 5-year anniversary (in conjunction with a conference I was attending at the convention center). We wanted to stay somewhere special, so we searched for boutique hotels and found a great price on the International House on Stayful.com. It was a great choice. The hotel was perfectly located for us, far enough... More

My husband and I stayed here the weekend of February 6-8th for Mardi Gras. On the way to the hotel, a lot of the roads were closed because some of the parades were still going on that night. We called the hotel and the front desk receptionist helped give us directions to go around the traffic. I wish I had... More

My husband and I just returned from a 4 day visit to New Orleans. We stayed at the International Boutique because we always like a smaller hotel. This did not disappoint. From the moment I called and made the reservation the front desk and booking employees went out of their way to be helpful. Greg made the reservations and gave... More

Meets my ideal of a downtown boutique hotel: great location; charming decor, professional and helpful staff; quirky accents; satisfactory + amenities. The building has a story in its own right, is well maintained, and easy walking distance to the French Quarter. My only quasi-complaint is that the TV picture was poor, but then watching TV was hardly the point. I... More

We stayed there the weekend of January 30th - Feb 1st. It was a great place to stay. They served a quick breakfast, but it was really close to Ruby where we ate. The room was great and the service was phenomenal. What ever I asked of the front desk was dome, right on time. They had Valet Parking and... More

This hotel is conveniently located just outside the Quarter on the CBD side. Close to Aquarium and right on the bus line for Magazine. Nice old building, which means the rooms are small and the number of outlets is limited. No in-room safe but the bathrooms are nice sized and well appointed. I liked the fact that the decor was... Stayed at this hotel Thursday-Sunday in late January 2015. The hotel is very charming with a swanky/cool vibe. The staff was accommodating and professional but they weren't the best I've seen. Didn't necessarily go out of their way to be extra helpful or attentive but they were certainly acceptable for this level property. Room was updated, clean and reasonably comfortable.... More

Just completed our second stay. IH is a beautiful hotel with an artistic and chic vibe. Bar has plenty of seating and is a great congregation area if you are staying with a group. Staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is on our most recent stay, our room had no window.

Thank you for staying with us again. We look forward to your 3rd time with us. We do offer 8 "Rock Star" rooms that do not have windows. Many people that want to enjoy NOLA all night and sleep the day away love them. It sounds like the room was not a perfect fit for you so next time we... More
