Two of us came to New Orleans for a week on government business and decided to stay in the French Quarter for fun in the evenings. This hotel was perfect. The location is great right on Canal and Bourbon. We both got great rooms with balconies overlooking Bourbon street. The hotel itself is in immaculate condition and the rooms seem... More

We really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It is close to Bourbon street, but not right in the middle of it. It is close to the various streetcar lines so that it is easy to get around the city. The hotel itself is quite nice and the rooms are in great condition. It is a standard Hyatt and very... More

Had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. We arrived before check in time and were put into a room straight away. We also had a problem with our air-conditioning one night and were unable to stay in the room due to the smell, we were moved straight away to an upgraded room free of charge for the duration of... We just ended a conference at the hotel and I have to say - Outstanding job Hyatt French Quarter. This hotel is all about service - from the Valet to the Front Desk to everyone we encountered. You made it a great few days - I am impressed enough to move my business to you when I am in town.... More

This place was beautiful and modern on the inside with very high ceilings. Every time we visited the front desk the staff treated us great. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We got a balcony room facing Bourbon St. The party goers partied until the sun came up. It was unbelievable how noisy it can get. The... More

Loved our stay here! We stayed over Labor Day weekend. The location of the hotel can't be beat. The lobby is beautiful and modern. Our room was huge and the bed super comfortable (the room even had a separate sitting area). Since I've read from previous reviews about noise from the street I requested a room facing the courtyard or... More

We stayed for four nights and loved the Hotel but hated the noise. The hotel is conveniently located, just a block away from Bourbon, Canal St and the Saint's stadium is a 15 minute walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe in the lobby was excellent and reasonably priced. Our room was very spacious and clean but... More

I stayed here one night in July 2014. I usually stay at the Hyatt Regency but this one happened to be cheaper that night and thus stayed here to try it out. Usually this is the most expensive Hyatt in NOLA. Generally I don't even consider French Quarter hotels as the night scene is not for our family with 2... More

oregontransplant1, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - and giving our hotel property a chance! Our hotel actually dates back to pre-civil war times and was once known as the DH Holmes Department store in New Orleans - however, we had completed an extensive renovation in 2011. None the less, we hope you family enjoyed... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July This hotel is amazing the rooms are huge, modern, and extremely clean. This is right in the very centre of the French quarter and in the centre of it all. We booked the gator tour from the hotel the best trip we did. I would definitely recommend it. The staff... More
