My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt FQ early May for our honeymoon. We were greeted and checked in with great, warm, service by Meghan. On learny that it was our honeymoon she sent us champagne and chocolate coated strawberries that evening. Beautiful surprise - thank you. We had a balcony suite overlooking Dauphine Street, on level 3. There... More

Very friendly staff. Spacious rooms and right on the corner of Bourbon Street. Could not ask for a better location. Close enough to the party but far enough away from the noise. Parking is a pricey at $42 per night plus tax and tip.

We got here and were immediately impressed with the foyer, it looks very grand. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, with very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Our room was interior facing the courtyard, it was big with a sofa desk for us. The Wi-Fi was good, but we had to reconnect to it every time we came back to the... More

I echo the comments made by recent reviewers - this is a fantastic hotel. The staff is so professional and friendly. We had asked for adjoining courtyard rooms as we heard they were quieter. We got them, but we were worried when we saw they were on the ground level right at the pool. They told us to let them... More

Flying in for a quick 16 hour trip I arrived at around 1 am form the airport to a very friendly hotel staff who quickly got me checked in to a wonderful room! I am typically a Starwood or Hilton guy (Gold for both) but Hyatt is starting to grow on me - the staff was warm and welcoming everywhere;... More

The room we stayed in was a corner room that overlooked the pool. Room was exceptionally big with couch and chaise and bathroom was large as well. The staff was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Only one day was there an oversight by the cleaning staff by leaving a one of our used towels and washcloths, the only oversight however.... What a great location! Cab driver took me to wrong Hyatt - even with address. Be sure and say French Quarter. Staff great, food service good and so convenient to first class dining in the Quarter. No noise problems. We had a large room and terrific AC. No security issues even late at night. We will be back here!

Stayed at the Hyatt French Quarter during Mardi Gras this year and LOVED it. A short block from Bourbon Street and you were right in the action! The room was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

So..my friends and i stayed at this hotel and im going to critique it based on my experiences overall. Distance from airport: Its about a 20 minute ride and it costs about 14 dollars per person for a group of three or more. Dont forget to tip. Check in: We got there around 1pm and was allowed to check in.... More

Amid the chaos and debauchery that is bourbon street is the tranquility and style that is the Hyatt. Once you step instead the cool air strikes you and the are almost instantly relaxed. It is almost at though lavender and Prozac are pumped through the air. This is s large hotel that does feel large. It is very much in... More
