Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. The rooms were modern, spacious and clean. The room had a couch with chaise lounge as well as a desk. Everything was really nice, except the wifi was very poor. Atrocious, really. I was staying there for a conference and the lack of good wifi was a hinderence to me.

The hotel is a four story former department store, though you would never know it's past from the modern open lobby. Boutique style rooms have high ceilings that give an expansive feel. The room overlooked Iberville Street, a half block off Bourbon Street. The desk was correct, "you will hear some noise in the distance but not annoying" Good job... More

Decent hotel right in the thick of things in the French Quarter. Above average service. Decent concierge. Pleasant amenities. There are two secluded courtyards that keep the street noise to a minimum. One even has a pool. Best bet is to get a room overlooking the courtyards to keep the noise at night that infiltrates your room to acceptable levels.... More

Our room was nice size, bed was very comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room. Wifi was included and worked fine. Our room overlooked the pool, was very quiet. It was a great location to Bourbon street. Staff were very nice and helpful in suggesting a ghost tour and restaurants outside of the Hyatt.

We stayed here for 4 nights in late March on vacation and really liked it. It's complete with the typical Hyatt amenities including gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, great meeting space, comfy lobby, and great service. It doesn't measure up to a Hyatt Regency property but I wasn't expecting one. Our room was a courtyard room with a door that opened... More

Nice hotel with a great location. Stayed in the low 200 rooms facing canal street. The view was nice but the construction was loud. Street workers started at 730 and the sleep was over. The towels in both rooms we had were made from sand paper. These are towels from a low end budget hotel. If any one from Hyatt... More

Recently stayed at the Hyatt French Quarter on a business trip. The property was decent, but I am used to a higher general quality for he Hyatt brand. The room I received was on the first floor and had two entrances, including one in an open atrium, which caused me some security concern. While the room was quiet and the... More

Three nights at this hotel was not enough to soak up the atmosphere. Great rooms, bars, cafes and restaurants within the hotel. Comfortable beds and good showers. Friendly and helpful staff. Walk outside and you are in the centre of so many things to do, yet the hotel is quiet.

This is a terrific hotel to stay in. Right down the street from Bourbon St. so it's close but quiet. Our room had doors right outside from the pool which was nice to come back to the hotel and relax. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

The noise coming from the street (and we stayed on the alley side-between Burbon & Royal) of the hotel...noise from the Alibi bar was LOAD almost all night...oh and then when the trash pickup starts it's INSANE. And, I think the trash pickup lasted for over 2 hours because there were well over 25 containers and piles on top of... More
