In the midst of the action in the French Quarter (the hotel backs onto Bourbon Street at its end near Canal Street), this hotel offers a quiet base of operations. We had a room on an interior courtyard that was totally quiet, but I understand that the rooms overlooking the active French Quarter were audibly comfortable as well. The rooms... More

We stayed here because it was within walking distance to the Sanger theater, only 2-3 blocks. I loved that the hotel had an entrance right off Canal street and main entrance is just around corner from Burbon. We did not go to party and I was concerned about the noise level so close to Burbon. It was fine! We did... More

I attended a conference and stayed at the Hyatt, French Quarter. It was a short cab ride and is located within walking distance of food, shops and all you need. The hotel check in process was effecient, the room was clean with plenty of room to spread out. I had an interior room which meant it was quiet and none... More

I came here for a professional conference, staying three nights in a mini-suite. The room (#372) was great: located in the Northeast corner of the block with huge windows, large couches, and lots of floor space. The building is only four stories (so the elevators come pretty quickly). The staff was uniformly smiling and responsive. The Red Fish Restaurant is... More

We spent 4 nights at the Hyatt and on previous recommendations, when asked whether we want a court yard room or a room on bourbon, we took the courtyard room. There was little noise and we couldn't even hear the fire engines when there was a fire in the French quarter. When we checked in, we were greeted by Brooke,... More

We really loved staying here - new, clean, high ceilings, friendly staff, cool location and just easy vacation. We would definitely go back. My favorite things were: the delightful little cafe in the lobby, lovely rooms, cleanliness, feelings of safety, kid friendly and yummy food.

I had read previous comments on this hotel, which is why I chose it, and they were spot on. Great service, great personnel and very nice rooms. The recommendations made for eating establishments were great, and the staff always used my name and greeted me warmly.

Hyatt French Quarter has great location! Very close to all the action of bourbon street but noise level wasn't bad! Hotel staff were great. Bar in hotel was a great place to meet. Bloody Mary's were a meal!

We spent a total of 5 nights at this hotel. First, just one night before our cruise, then another 3 nights after. This was during the recent French Quarter Festival. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Walking distance from just about everything but we did not hear anything from nearby Bourbon street. We had a great experience, the... More
