We stayed at the Chateau Bourbon for a few days in June. Wish we coud have stayed longer and we will definitely return. The location is absolutely perfect. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. No problems with anything whatsoever including air conditioning, hot water etc. Our room was made up promptly each day. I think one of my favorite... more

Since I had been to New Orleans several times I was more interested in relaxing during the day instead of seeing the town, so the pool side bar was perfect! They offer a small menu, all kinds of drinks and Patrick the bartender was great! more

This hotel is conveniently located in the French Quarter. The rooms are very large and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The only problem that we experienced is with the thermostat. You can set it as low as you wish but the temperature never will go below 70. Thus, the room stayed humid our entire stay. We booked the room... more

My wife and I stayed at the Chateau Bourbon in May 2009. Firstly, they gave us a free upgrade to a suite, which is always a great way to start. The room was also faced the interior, and when I say interior, I mean interior, it faced an indoor atrium, but honestly, I'd prefer that then facing a loud street.... more

Located at the corner of Iberville & Bourbon. Convenient location during the day, but unbelievably noisy at night. Cleanliness left something to be desired; wet carpet and stained tile and tub were unappealing. Room was large with flatscreen TV and very comfortable bed. Service was sketchy - check-in and check out was smooth, but help from the concierge was inconsistent.... more

Chateau Bourbon made for a nice stay. The room was spacious, and the location hard to beat: in the French Quarter but on a more quiet street which makes for better sleep. The only REAL problem I might have had was the air conditioning: I could not get the room temp to drop below about 70 degrees. I'd have been... more

Upon arrival at this hotel my company had paid for my room in advance. When I checked in they asked me for my Credit card incase I wanted to purchase anything on the room. I had an early flight so I left the room key in the morning and did not check out at the front desk. When I got... more

This hotel is one block off of Bourbon Street but is not noisy at all in the rooms in our area, Perfect location in the French quarter. When we first arrived with reservations through hotels.com, we found out that they had us coming in 2 days later. Fortunately we had our confirmation # and dates and they were able to... more

After looking and looking for hotels in the French Quarter, we came across this one. I had been looking at the Marriott hotels because I know that I would find a quality room there but I wanted something with a little more New Orleans flair. We were a little worried with some of the negative reviews but couldn't have been... more
