They have big surprises at this hotel in that some rooms are tiny, tiny, like a doll house, and they don't tell you anything about the tiny rooms until you have checked in. When you ask for a real room it is sorry for you, this is what you rented. Our room controlled other rooms as far as heat and... More

Given..this is a super old building/s. for gods sake clean this place. Stay wasn't bad and our king room was quiet and plenty big. I just can't get over how dirty this whole city is. Our tv remote didn't work, front desk attempted to fix it but failed after he left. For $150 night..put some money in this place and... More

Judging by some of the other reviews I had seen, I was looking forward to staying in a charming boutique hotel in a great location. The location is great, but that's it. This place needs a LOT of work. Our room was uncomfortable, small, and dirty. There was a balcony, which I thought at least I could enjoy, until I... More

I was very skeptical about staying at this hotel once I started reading all of the travel reviews but I admit that my stay was not bad. Sure the rooms are a little musty but this is an old building. The location is great and within walking distance to most restaurants, bars, historical sights. A special thanks goes out to... More

Very charming. 200 years old with several buildings. Clean, staff very friendly, helpful. Walking distance to Burbon street. Barkus parade right down our street. Prices very good.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights and wanted to give you the feedback. Room wasn't updated and very small. Old TV box reciever, old bed (comfy somewhat). We were on the bottom floor and you could hear everyone in the hall! Only thing updated was the bathroom. Parking is limited so don't more your car when you get there.... More

We were due at the hotel the next day but had to move our travel schedule up a day. We called from the road and got a reservation. However our room was musty, triggering my wife severe allergies. We told them we could not stay in that room. We were not offered another room and told we woUld be charged... More

The hotel is comprised of two older buildings in a nice residential area of the French Quarter - quiet at night but only 2 blocks from Bourbon St. Easy walking to everything - the riverfront, the French Market, the Trolleys, the parades. We were there Feb 11-15 (a week prior to Mardi Gras week) and slept well each night. The... More

Don't be fooled by this hotel's web site pictures. We were in two rooms during our stay and the rooms are tiny, shabby, grimey and in poor repair. The mattresses in our room could be used for hammocks. A modest continental breakfast is provided, but in a room that needs to be scrubbed down and steam cleaned. This hotel could... More

Our mistake not to read the fine print in our on-line reservation at the Bug House (see trip advisor reviews). This convinced us to cancel, based on St. Pierre's, e-mail saying we had 30 days to do so. Not true. We're billed $160 to cancel. "What do you expect from a 2 1/2 star hotel?" the desk clerk told me.... More
