I stumbled across this gem on accident but I am so glad i did. I was in town to visit my boyfriend and was looking for reasonably priced hotels. I read the reviews for St. Philip and decided to book. When i first arrived, i was a little skeptical, but the rooms are lovely and the staff are AMAZING. they... More

We were upgraded to an adorable 2 bedroom apartment for our stay. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom and it was spacious, historic, and urban. Will definitely be returning with a large group of friends to show off this awesome find! Thank you so much June for making us feel so welcomed!

Staying at the St. Philip was a rare delight. Instead of a cookie-cutter room in a stale hotel, we were treated to a unique flat in an authentic French Quarter domicile that immediately felt like home away from home. The location could not be better for roaming the FQ and then returning to the quiet respite of a deliciously enchanting... More

We arrived at 11:30pm and were greeted by the night manager, who could not have been more helpful or kind. The location is perfect - 2 blocks from Bourbon St, 5 blocks from Frenchmen St, 3 blocks from Cafe du Monde. The apartment was clean, and the kitchen area had nice amenities. I highly recommend this spot for couples who... More

The hotel is well located, close to a grocery store, and distant enough from Bourbon to avoid the noise yet close enough of it (and everything else) to enjoy New Orleans at its best. Outstanding service, very clean. I will go back for sure. The staff was very polite, welcoming and helping.

thanks so much for pointing our most excellent location, staff and cleanliness. As we like to say, we're just a short walk to bourbon street (only one block), but depending on the night you had it can seem like a long crawl back! ;-). On behalf of our entire staff thanks for pointing out the good work they do. it... More

St. Philip Apartments was once again our home away from home in New Orleans. It's really exactly what we need when staying in the FQ. A beautiful historic building with clean, secure rooms and a great staff. Thanks again to June and Tyler for being our hosts.

My daughter, her fiance, my husband and I spent 3 of the best days of the year, this past weekend in wonderful NOLA! It was a celebration of my and Jessica's birthdays also her graduation celebration from nursing school! Jessi arrived about 45 minutes before we did. Patti can you believe the nerve of people back in 1859, building places with no elevators, and no parking!!! if only they knew what this area would turn into ;-) We certainly cant go back and change time to add all the newest most modern conveniences, but it truly is one of the things that makes our building, the French... NOLA was the end of a special road trip for us 3 girls. The accommodations were just perfect. Our room had a queen bed and a pull out with a balcony. We were here for a conference at the beginning of October. The place was ready to go and themed to the 9's. Our first time in New Orleans. This hotel completes the experience as it should be. Aloha sweeties, thanks so much for taking time here to gab a little bit about us. You are so correct and thanks for pointing out that we are most definitely not pristine, (a place this old located in this French Quarter could never be), but that we are indeed the most homey and one of the cleanest you will find.... Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
