Beautiful hotel located in the best area, close enough to the crazy action on bourbon but not in the middle of it. There is no elevator but the staff and atmosphere here make up for it. Would highly recommend.

I'm a NOLA local and had a weekend staycation in the quarter. The location of the Hotel Royal in a lovely location in the heart of the quarter. It's on Royal and can be quieter than other locations. We had room 11 which is a 3rd floor balcony room. It's very spacious. The balcony is beautiful and a really nice... More

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. My husband and I traveled to new Orleans for a small vacation and I had broken my ankle right before leaving and they went out of there way to accommodate us for the first floor instead of the second, where we were originally should have stayed. The hotel didn't have an elevator so... More

The romance package coupled with the Royal Balcony suite made for a scene straight out of her favorite romance novel . Couldn't be happier with the overly helpful and very accommodating sales coordinator named Devan Sprague, who went above and beyond to help make this New Orleans stay a magical exspericaence that she will absolutely never forget .

The location is great for walking to areas in the French Quarter. The hotel is quaint and historical. We stayed for 3 nights in a petite room - VERY small but clean and served our needs. Would not want to stay in this size room for a full week. A couple weeks before our vacation we called the only number... More

My husband and I were booked to stay at this hotel for the beginning of our honeymoon. We were a day late coming into New Orleans after having a cancelled flight out of DC. Tired and grumpy we arrived to an incredibly warm and helpful staff. Family had called to upgrade our room for a night at the end of... More

Great experience here! The hotel itself is beautiful and historical looking. The rooms were modern, clean and chic. Marble bathrooms, hardwood floors... The staff are fantastic - especially Eric and Ariana who were so helpful. Not an unfriendly person in the place! Our friends got the Royal Suite which was spacious and elegant with the large outdoor patio - sadly... More

This hotel was beyond perfect! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautiful and clean and the location couldn't of been any better, you could walk to almost anything or take a $20 cab ride to anything not close enough to walk too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good time is... More

The Royal is situated one block away from bustling Bourbon, and 3 mins walk from Jackson Square. You're close to the action without being kept awake by street noises. Rooms are of varying sizes, but all modern, with a/c, ceiling fan and flat screen TV. En suites are fairly fresh. Staff is smiling, helpful and non-intrusive. A small breakfast is... More
